SEEDING Please fax the Team Record Report Form for Regional Tournament Seeding (WHSAA Form S1, included) to the Laramie High School Activities Office at 307-721-4419 or email it to jqualls@acsd1.org and nwilson@acsd1.org by Monday, October 23, 2017 to facilitate seeding. TEAM PICTURES AND ROSTERS Pictures and rosters must be uploaded to the WHSAA web site by Wednesday, October 18, 2017. The required roster form can be found in the Forms section of the WHSAA website (www.whsaa.org). This form, called School Team Rosters, must be filled out online and submitted electronically. You can enter your roster by using your directory login and password. Each Activities Director has been sent the information for entering school rosters. Please contact the WHSAA office if you need this information. WHSAA Rule 7.15.61 Rosters for Volleyball Tournaments: 7.15.61 No more than twelve players can be in uniform for any tournament contest. The twelve players whose names are entered on the official scorebook for the first tournament contest, shall be the only players used for the entire tournament. Violation of this provision shall cause forfeiture as per WHSAA Rules 5.0.7 and 1.4.0. To upload team photos for the Regional Events or State Culminating events, go to www.whsaa.org/imageupload/login.asp. Type in the password whsaa0708 (that s zero seven zero eight), click Login, browse to find your file and Send. Please include your school s name in the title of your file (i.e. Laramie_VB.jpg).

As such, we will have two locker rooms available for changing. Please, have your team take all personal possessions to their bench. Locker rooms will be assigned before each Match on both days, and a list team names will be listed outside the locker rooms in the order they play. Albany County School District will not be responsible for lost or missing items. Locker rooms will be available approximately one hour prior to the scheduled match time. Laramie High School will not provide towels. ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM The athletic training room will be open and available for use throughout the tournament. A certified athletic trainer will be available for all matches. Please bring your own training supplies. WATER Laramie High School will provide water and cups for the tournament. HOME TEAM DESIGNATION The highest seed in any match will be the home team. The home team will start on the right of the scoring bench and will be the designated as HOME team on the scoreboard. Teams shall occupy the bench located on the side of the net adjacent to their playing area throughout the match. WARM-UP PERIOD Twenty (20) minutes will be allowed for warm-up (5-6-6-3). The auxiliary gym will be available for pre-match warm-up. VIDEO TAPING Video taping will be allowed ONLY at the corners of the balcony level and designated media areas. Please be courteous of spectators. AWARDS All-Conference Medals, Coach of the Year Plaques and Conference Champion Plaques will be given

at the head coaches meeting. The Regional Place Winner Plaque will be presented immediately following the Championship Match (Match 9) on Saturday. MATCH MANAGEMENT Pep clubs, parents, and fans are reminded that pep posters, banners and noise makers are not allowed at Regional or State sites. Bands are allowed to play at Regional and State culminating events, but are reminded that they are not allowed to play during live ball situations. Administrators will be assigned for supervision during each session, but we would welcome any school administrator s assistance during their team s competition. TOURNAMENT PASSES Each team will receive an envelope containing the following passes for the tournament: 12 player passes 2 manager passes 3 coach passes 1 bus driver pass 15 programs *Passes will be in the form of wristbands, coaches, and drivers will receive different ones to allow entrance to the hospitality room Cheerleaders passes must be obtained by contacting the Tournament Director WHSAA TICKET PRICES ADULT STUDENT Friday $4.00 $3.00 Saturday $6.00 $4.00 All Session Pass $9.00 $6.00 High school students must present their WHSAA Identification Cards or high school ID card in order to purchase tickets at the student price. If no identification card is presented, adult prices will be charged. High school graduates and older are considered adults. Please pass this information on to your student body and your fans. CONCESSIONS Concessions will be provided throughout the tournament by the LHS Band. T-SHIRTS Regional T-shirts will be available for purchase outside the Main Gym by Rocky Mountain Shirtworks of Laramie. HOSPITALITY ROOM A hospitality room will be set up in the Culinary Arts classroom. It will be for coaches, bus drivers, tournament workers, school administrators, and officials; please no students.

COACHES MEETING The head coaches meeting will be Friday at 8:00 a.m. in room 1039 at Laramie High School. Breakfast will be provided. The meeting agenda will include: 1) Select All Conference Team 2) Select Conference Coach of the Year 3) Other business to be determined ALL CONFERENCE SELECTIONS The coaches will select an All-Conference team at the Regional Tournament. The all-conference and all-state selections will be determined in accordance with the following guidelines: 1. All Conference nominations shall be submitted on Tuesday prior to the Regional Tournament to the Tournament Director. Only all-conference selections will be considered for the all-state team. 2. The Head Coach may nominate no more than seven (7) players for all conference, but may not vote for their own players. 3. At the selection meeting lots will be drawn to determine the order in which nominees are presented. Each coach will then, in turn, present their nominees. 4. There will be only one (1) ballot. Each head coach shall vote for fifteen (15) nominees. Coaches may not vote for their own players. Roll call voting for All Conference and All State will take place on a rotational basis by school and by descending point order. Since there are fourteen (14) positions to be selected, voting will be 15-14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Point totals will be tabulated with the fourteen (14) highest totals being First Team and all other point recipients being Second Team. 5. A press release of All Conference players shall be made on the Wednesday following the State Tournament by the Tournament Director to the 4A AD s of the appropriate conference. 6. Coaches will distribute medals to their First Team All Conference players after the press release. Coaches will select a Coach of the Year by ballot (included), which will be voted on at the Regional Tournament. 4A LEAGUE BY-LAWS APPLYING TO REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL Tiebreaking procedures for Regional rankings shall be as follows: 1. Head-to-head conference competition between and among the tied teams. 2. If a tie still exists, compare the records of the tied teams against the record of the highestranking non-tied team. Continue through the conference standings until the tie is broken. 3. If a tie still exists, head-to-head competitions during non-conference play. (This includes tournaments with scoring 3 of 5 Matches to 25 points). 4. If a tie still exists, the tie shall be broken by: a. Tied teams head to head Match record. b. Tied teams head to head points scored against. c. Tied teams total Conference Match record. d. Tied teams total points scored against. 5. If a tie still exists, the tie shall be broken with the flip of a coin. All WHSAA and National Federation rules will be followed
