Rules: 1.Adjuidcators decision is final. 2.Age as at 1st January 2014. 3.Entries only accepted from teachers currently registered with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha. 4.In Bun grad and Tus grad, makeup will not be permitted in competitions up to and including U12 age group. Dancers in all ages must wear either class costumes or 'day clothes'. 5.Bun grad competitions are confined to dancers who have never won 1st place for that particular dance in any age or grade. Basic steps only are permitted. 6.Tus grad competitions are confined to dancers who have never won 1st place in that particular dance in any age in Tus grad, Mean grad or Ard grad. Mean grad competitions are confined to dancers who have never won 1sr place in that particular dance in Man grad or Ard grad in the age group or a higher age group. Dancers may perform basic steps or first hand version of each dance. Steps in tusgrad Heavy Jig or Hornpipe must be similar to those used in St.Patrick's Day or Blackbird. 7.No block, en point, stationery or moving will be allowed for all ages up to and including Under 12 years. 8.The feis committee reserves the right to A) Use relief adjudicators, B) Alternate competitions if it becomes necessary, in order to help the feis run smoothly. 9.Any form of unauthorized photography which has the capability to capture a dancers image whilst in motion, using electronic or manual means, e.g. mobile phones, standard camera, video camcorder, cine recorder, commercial film, with or without flash enhancement, is expressly forbidden in competition. 10.A prelim championship will be incorporated into each Ardgard championship from Under 8 up to and including 15-16 years where there is a minimum of 5 competitors eligible for the Prelim Championships. To be eligible for the prelim championship dancers must have never won an open championships judged by 3 or more adjudicators and not have won 3 or more prelim championships judged by 3 or more adjudicators and not have qualified for Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne in either 2013 or 2014. The Prelim Championship result will be taken after the first two rounds of each championships. Dancers recalled for the set dance will be included in results for both Ardgrad and Prelim championship. Dancers to be included in the Prelim Championship must be ticked on the entry form on submission. 11. Dancers who do not recall for the overall Ardgrad result will dance their set dance in another hall and receive a separate result for this dance. Dancers may dance Traditional Set Dance as part of this competition. 12. All grades are open to all areas. 13. The feis committee will not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage to property. 14. All cups are perpetual challenge cups. The recipients are responsible for any loss or damage and for the safe return of the cup prior to following year and must be signed for. 15. All competitors are asked to be ready in full costume 30 minutes before competition.
