Soccer City Ramathan Tournament RULES 1.CONSTITUTIONAL RULES 1.1. All players must be registered by completing the necessary forms prior to competing for any team. Teams may register up to 12 players and no player can be registered to more then one team in the tournament. 1.2. First place wins the league. 1.3. Team will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 for a loss, group standing will be decided by points gained, followed by goal difference, followed by goals scored, followed by aggregate results between the two teams in question. 1.4. Players registered with Bahrain Football Association cannot be registered. 1.5. Any team playing with an unregistered or suspended players will lose the match right away with a 3-0 score, and 3 points will be deducted from there total points. 1.6. Players playing whilst suspended will be have a further three match ban added to there current suspension. 1.7. Teams are asked to arrive at least 10 min prior to schedule kick off time, and both the teams must be on the pitch and ready to begin the match at the appointed time. Any team more then 10 min late will have their opponents 2-0 head start; time will be shortened as well. 1.8. A team more then 15 min late will be down 2-0 and have 1 point deducted at the end of the match. Team more then 20 min late or not showing up will lose the match 3-0 and be deducted 3 points. 1.9. Teams may choose to start the game with minimum 5 players. 1.10. Any team unable to come on their fixture day have to give one day notice in which case they will lose the match 3-0 without any deduction of points. 1.11. If both teams are more then 15 minutes late for their fixture, 1 point will be deducted from both teams and playing time will be shortened. 1.12. In the event that a team refuses to play another team the match will be awarded to the other team 3-0 and the team refusing will be deducted 3 points. Misconduct or continuous disruption can be awarded as refusal to play. 1.13. In the event that a team refuses to complete a match which has already started, the match will be awarded to the other team 3-0 and the team refusing to play will be deducted 3 points. If the score at the time produces a goal difference greater then 5-0 then that score will stand. 1.14. All fixtures are to be played unless hosts of pitches provide valid reasons (lights, problem with pitch etc). Any decision to cancel a game can only be made by creators. 1.15. Postponements are not allowed, except in exceptional circumstances raised to the creators and decided by them. 1.16. Any player or team suspended by any local football association, or other governing body may not participate in the league. 1.17. A fixture list will be issued at the start of the season.

1.18. Creators will not take any responsibility for a fight or misunderstanding among players within a team or between opponents. 1.19. Teams must pay the full amount of registration fee 10 days prior to the start of the league. Any team that does not pay the registration fees before the deadline will not be guaranteed a place in the league. 1.20. Additional BD 75 is to be paid by all the registering teams as a deposit and will be refunded at the end of the league. 1.21. Match dates and time may change from time to time due to public holidays or other circumstances that the creators decide are worthy of changing fixtures. All the teams should assume that all the fixtures would be on the appointed time and date unless clearly advised by the creators. 1.22. A team failure in attendance in a match that is NOT postponed will result in the appropriate penalties for lateness or absence stated above. 1.23. Each captain of a team becomes a member of a committee. The committee raises issues to the creators. The purpose of the committee is to raise questions and discussions to improve competition and fairness as the league progresses. 2. PLAYING RULES: 2.1. For this league each team is allowed maximum of seven players and one goalkeeper. 2.2. Substitutions are unlimited during the game but can only be made when the ball is dead and with referee s consent. Outgoing substitutes must leave the field of play first before the replacement enters. The oncoming player is active immediately. 2.3. All substitutes must stand outside the pitch perimeter. Spectators must not enter the field of play under any circumstances. 2.4. No offside rule is applied in this tournament. 2.5. Only training shoes, molded soles and astro boots are allowed. NO screws in studded footwear or blades are permitted for any player. Referees may refuse to allow players to play with inappropriate footwear. 2.6. The match will consist of two equal halves. The length of half will be 25minutes and there will be a 5 minute break between each half. 2.7. Only the defending goalkeeper is allowed to handle the ball in his area. 2.8. No back pass is allowed, if it happens a penalty will be awarded to the opposing team. 2.9. All free kicks will be direct. 2.10. The goalkeeper must be on the goal line when penalty is being taken, and all other players behind the penalty box except for the penalty taker. 2.11. The referee s decision on all on- field matters is final and no arguments or discussions will be entered into either on or off the field with him about any decision. The referee s jurisdiction on disciplinary matters will apply until players have left the pitch.

2.12. No team can appeal on a referee s decision. Team or players repeatedly disputing decisions may have further disciplinary action taken against them. 2.13. All players are required to wear shin pads and the official team jersey s provided. Player s numbers cannot be changed. Any player not wearing shin pads or official team jersey will not be allowed to play. If matches are delayed or cancelled because of this constitutional rule will apply. 3. DISCIPLINARY RULES 3.1. A player sent off for getting two yellow cards would be suspended for a minimum of 1 game. A player receiving a straight red card will be suspended for 2 games. In case of serious foul play, foul or abusive language the suspension will be extended and the team of that player may also face point deduction or league ejection depending on circumstances. 3.2. A player that collects four yellow cards over the season will receive one match ban. A player receiving a second red card (whether straight red or two yellow cards) will receive a 3- match ban. A player receiving 3 red cards will be ejected from the league. 3.3. If a player is given red card whist off the field of play (for unacceptable conduct on the sideline), the team MUST correspondingly reduce the number of players on the field. If they fail to do so, further action may be taken such as point deduction. 3.4. If a team is permanently reduced to 3 players in one match the game will end. The match will be awarded 3-0 to the their opponents. If the score at that time produces a goal difference greater then 5-0 then that score will stand against the reduced team. 3.5. If a match is abandoned for any reason the team at fault will be receive a 3-0 defeat and be deducted 3 points unless opposing team already has a greater advantage in which case the score will stand. If both teams are judged at fault the game will be void and no points will be awarded. Further action or ejection may take place depending on circumstances. 3.6. Violent conduct on or off the pitch will result in the immediate suspension of the individual and could result in a ban from the school s premises. The creators reserve the right to ban an individual or team from further participation in all competitions. 3.7. Referees must be respected from all teams. Teams found guilty of abusing referee s will be removed from the league. 3.8. The decision of the league committee in all matters pertaining to the administration of the league is final. 3.9. League creators may overturn any rule if they feel a team is deliberately using an interpretation of the rules to gain unfair advantage.
