4-H Upcoming Events and Notes Interested high school seniors are invited to apply to participate in the Woodford Leadership Tomorrow program. This program, a partnership between Woodford County Extension and Woodford County High School, offers an opportunity for participants to learn more about their community as they seek to address the issues facing Woodford County. Interested applicants can email ryan.farley@uky.edu for more information and an application. Program is open to all Woodford County seniors. Deadline to apply will be 10/25. * SAVE THE DATE * Woodford County 4-H will be returning to North Central 4-H Camp on July 16-20th for 4-H Camp 2018! Go ahead and mark your calendars, schedule your vacation before or after and get ready for the best week of the summer. One thing you may not need to pack for this year at camp? Fans for the cabins *wink wink*. We hope you will consider contributing to the United Way of the Bluegrass during their fall campaign drive. United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Woodford County 4-H is directly supported by the United Way through an annual Local Grant program. You may also choose to have part or all of your annual contribution go directly to Woodford County 4-H by selecting Woodford County 4-H Council as the specific agency you would like to support. Selecting the Education Initiative will also support the local grant program.
