INLINE SPEED SKATING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018 According to World Skate Statutes, Rules for the World Championships Art. 4, we have pleasure to inform you that the 2018 World Senior and Youth Inline Speed Skating Championships on track and on road. 2018 World Senior and Junior Inline Speed Skating Championships on Track will be held on the Bertus Dokter Piste in Heerde, The Netherlands from 1 3 July 2018 and 2018 World Senior and Junior Inline Speed Skating Championships on road will be held in Arnhem, The Netherlands from 5 8 July 2018 The expenses of travel, board and lodging will be up to each attending team. REGISTRATION The registration will be through the official online World Skate Sports Entry Platform. The Platform will open on May 07 at 00:00 AM (European time) and will close on June 17 at 11:59 PM. You can access the Platform through the following link: http://platform.worldskate.org. Your user name and password are the same that were provided last year, in case you lost them or for any further information or request do not hesitate to contact us at platform@worldskate.org. Please find attached the Platform User Guide and the new anti-doping acknowledgment and agreement form which shall be uploaded on the Platform.

The athletes eligible in 2018 are skaters born in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003. Skaters allowed to participate by their age shall although enter the Senior or the Junior Championship only. A skater having participated at a World Senior Championship shall not participate to any other World Junior Championship. OFFICIAL TRAININGS The Organizing Committee will arrange free training on track from Sunday June 24th until the start of the competition for all participating teams. The Organizing Committee will arrange free training on road on July 4th, 2018 for all participating teams. All arrangements for accommodations must be made through the Organizing Committee. All participants should bear their own expenses for accommodation and meals. An invoice will be send before the start of the event.
Payment has to been done before arrival per bank transfer. TRANSPORTATION The Organizing Committee will organize and provide one transportation each way from the airport to hotel free of charge. The Organizing Committee will also provide transportation between the official hotel and track and road location during the competition days and the training periods, starting from Sunday June 24th, 2018. The date, airline, flight number, expected time of arrival and the date and time of departure should be communicated to the Local Organizing Committee as soon as possible. Please include the amount of special equipm ent (e.g. bicycles, massage tables, etc.) that needs to be transported. Please be informed that local transportations and services will be granted just to those Federations that will proceed to the reservations through the Local Organising Committee. ATHLETE GUIDE The Organization Committee will send you an athlete guide before the beginning of the event including information about accreditation, trainings and race schedule, transportation services, and more info. PARTICIPATION AT THE SENIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS A total of eight male and eight female skaters may be registered in the Championships for each attending country. No more than two male and two female skaters can participate in calendar events. PARTICIPATION AT THE JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS A total of eight male and eight female skaters may be registered in the Championships for each attending country. No more than two male and two female skaters can participate in calendar events. ANTI-DOPING CONTROL The anti-doping control will be carried out according to World Skate Medical Regulations and WADA Rules. CONTROL OF FEMALE SEX In conformity with IOC guidelines, WORLD SKATE is entitled to conduct some tests on specific occasions. This would mean laboratory tests could be done if there is a suspicion.
