Note from the Director May 2018 2 Spring sure has taken it's time coming this year, but May has arrived and with it all the signs of the approaching summer - baseball is in full swing, the summer fishing season has started, and many students are preparing for the end of the school year and graduation. Memorial Day weekend officially kicks of the summer tourism season in Wisconsin bringing many visitors to our great state. For the Wisconsin Lottery's Special Events Team, summer means hiring interns and traveling to as many events across the state as possible. These will include Northwoods Baseball League games, local concert venues, large music festivals, Brewers games, and so much more. Of course our birthday celebration continues with a Birthday Raffle starting June 1 and radio remotes at some of our retailers. Please see page 4 of this edition for the list of June locations. Don't see your area on the list? Don't worry, more are in the works. Lottery Director, Cindy Polzin and Frankie Dog owners, I am sure your furry friends are happy to be out burning off all their winter energy. This ticket offers a chance to win up to $20,000. The Wisconsin Lottery team is definitely ready for summer and we are looking forward to getting out and spending time with our friends, families, customers, and retailers.
