FROM THE AERIE PRESIDENT: GREG HALL Fall is upon us and with it the Holiday season. A time to reflect on the past year and to show thanks for all that we have. I am thankful for our Aerie home and each and every member of Aerie 4530. I am thankful for the support that our Aerie shows to our charities, District, State and Grand. I am thankful for our Auxiliary, Eagle Riders, Aerie and Auxiliary Officers, Bartenders and our many volunteers. We have several events coming up in the next few months so please watch the Aerie calendar for them and come on in for the fun. We will be finalizing some of them at the Joint meeting on October 29 th. I know that we are planning our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners as well as New Year s Eve party. We are in need of committee members for all of these. If any of you have just a little time, please let one of the Aerie or Auxiliary Officers know we would be honored to have your help. In close I want to announce that we will be honoring and showing thanks to our Veterans on November 11 th. Without them we would not be enjoying the freedom to have an Aerie or to celebrate the Holidays that we do. I want to wish all of you and yours a very happy and safe Thanksgiving and say thank you to all of you once again.

CEILING TILES The Aerie is now selling ceiling tiles to members for $10.00 each. Each member can put their own message on these tiles. You can put your name or in memory of a loved one, for example. You have probably noticed some of the Aerie members wearing a Polo or T-shirt with the Aerie logo and Black Creek Eagles #4530 on them and they look good. You may now purchase them from the bartender, if available. If your size is not available let the Trustees know what you need for the next order. The Polo shirts are $20.00 each and the T-Shirts are $14.00. They come in Black, Blue or Red or if you prefer another color that can be done. Any size is okay. Once we have a minimum order of twelve (12) we will order them. Come look in the display case at the Aerie for other merchandise also. WOODEN EAGLES You may have noticed the wooden Eagles on the wall at the Aerie. One of our Members, Larry Giggey, is making these Eagles for the Aerie at no charge to the Aerie. The Eagles are being sold for $10.00 each. The money goes to our Building fund. Please consider buying an Eagle, not only to support the Aerie but also to show Larry that we do appreciate his time and effort. SUPPORT YOUR AERIE PLEASE! The drawing is on Monday nights around 8 pm. The drawing will be on Sunday for Labor Day weekend. Do you feel lucky? The jackpot is over $275.00 and you do not have to be present to win. Just ask the bartender for a ticket at $1.00 each, put your name on the back of the ticket along with the card number you want and if your name is pulled the card will be turned over for a possible win of cash. The rules are posted in the display box at the Aerie and all proceeds will go to the Building Fund. Thank-you for your support!
