Rules and Technical Laws) This event is licensed by the ASA Licence No. TBA SESSION TIMES: Morning Afternoon Warm Up 08.00-08.55 13.00-13.55 Start 09.00 14.00 Bradford Grassroots Swimming Development Group which provides an amalgamation of the five swimming clubs in the Bradford District, stages this level 4 invitational meet specifically to give an opportunity to club swimmers from the district to compete in an electronically timed meet and establish ASA recorded times for future open competition. VENUE: Shipley Swimming Pool, Shipley Swimming Pool, Alexandra Road, Shipley, BD18 3ER. FACILITIES:- Fast 6 Lane 25m Pool. Anti wave lane lines. Electronic Timing. Warm Up/Swim Down pool in operation. ENTRY FEES:- 4.00 per event. COACHES PASSES:- Will be issued to 2 coaches/team managers from the invited clubs. Additional passes 5.00each. ENTRY CARDS:- This will be a cardless meet. Entry is automatic on acceptance to the meet. If there are any withdrawals from events coaches are asked to do so no later than 60 minutes prior to the start of that session. Refunds for rejected entries to be collected on day of meet. SPECTATORS:- 3.00 per adult inc. programme Children under 16 & oap s - free. PROGRAMMES:- 1.00. AGES:- Ages as at 20 th January 2019 EVENTS:- All Heats will be seeded according to entry times and the final heat will be spearheaded. Events - 50m, 100m All strokes, 200m Free, 100IM or 200 IM. All events will be Heat Declared Winners. This means all ages swim in the same event and the winners of each age group are reported from the timed results by using Sportsys Meet Management software. There are no finals. Age Groups Boys & Girls age 9 50m All Strokes plus 100IM Boys & Girls age 10 50m and 100m All Strokes plus 100IM Boys & Girls age 11,12, 13,14, 15 & Over 50m and 100m All Strokes, 200m Free and 200IM. STARTS:- A one start rule will apply and Over the Top starts will be used as required. AWARDS:- All Events - Medals for 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd respectively in each age group in each event. Speeding tickets will be issued for ANY swimmer exceeding the upper qualifying time. Meet - Top Girl and Top Boy Points based 6,5,4,3,2,1. WITHDRAWALS Withdrawals after the closing date will not be eligible for a refund however refunds may be given at the Meet Director s discretion. ENTRIES:- File Entry is the preferred method.
