C A M D E N R G C. C O M Tis the Season for Pancakes and Gun Raffle tickets!! I d like to remind all members, the club will be hosting its Annual Pancake Breakfast starting Sunday, January 4 and continuing until Sunday, February 22. This breakfast is a great way to support the club while having a great breakfast! While you re at the club, our membership director would love to renew your membership and sell you a few gun raffle tickets. If you d like to obtain 10, 20 or 30 tickets to sell, the breakfast would be an ideal time to pick them up! Come support your club! It has come to my attention the indoor pistol range is once again being left a mess. If you use the range, please clean up! Also, make sure your line of fire terminates in the backstop, not into the floor or the wood sand enclosure on the floor. This can happen easily if your target is placed too far from the backstop with a low hanging target while shooting from the bench. This should be evident, but if not, study your point of aim prior to firing to ascertain where the projectile fired will ultimately impact. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! Dave Hello all. Another year is almost behind us. Boy, they are going fast. The club has enjoyed a year of profitability and will end the year in the black. The gun raffle is a giant help in making that occur, so thanks to all who sell and buy those tickets. With that in mind, the club is already looking at projects Secretary s Note As this is being written big game season is wending down for the year. I had a good year as did many I know. The new classes for Hunter safety, Bow hunting and Pistol classes are being planned. The Clubhouse and grounds Two Bit s from the Treasurer of improvement for next year, so if you have the opportunity and want to get involved, come to a business meeting. The club can always use some fresh ideas. Just a side note: the archery targets and 3D deer have been relocated into the archery house for winter storage. If anyone wants to do any Secretary s Report look good and the gun raffle tickets will soon be on sale. There are many things going on and yet it is a time for cleaning and maintaining our equipment. The New Year will bring two months of the Pancake breakfast. To all of the people who winter archery shooting, the key for the archery house is located in the club house. Also, a big thanks to Brian Kinney for donating the 3D deer to the archery range. I hope everyone has a merry and peaceful Christmas and New Year. See you on the range. Dan volunteer and keep these things going my hat is off to you and all you do. I am glad to call many of you friends. May all the members out there have a save and happy holiday season and I ll see you at the Club. Russ Smith Secretary

PAGE 3 A Word from News Letter Dude Keep your fire arm in good clean working condition Keep your finger off the rigger until you are ready to shoot. HO HO HO Hello to all and I sure hope this News Letter finds everyone well. Hunting season was good on my side although I have yet to concur the all mighty Whitetail with a bow, hopefully next year ( I think I may have said that a few times, LOL).I have heard and seen many VERY nice deer taken this past season including our own Treasurer (Dan Younkin) and my nephew (Ryan Thayer) who both got real nice Eight pointers. CONGRATS to all successful hunters and to all for a safe enjoyable season. I started running the Defensive Pistol League (DPL) on Thursday nights and last week was supposed to be the end of it. However we have had GREAT attendance and Help from all attending shooters so we are going to continue Thursday Evenings after a 2 week break for Christmas and New Years. Starting back up on Thursday Jan. 8 th. I have to give a huge SHOUT OUT to Chris Conway who is a new CRGC member but a very accomplished IDPA and USPAS shooter. He has been helping me design and setup new stages each week along with helping me run shooters thru the courses of fire. Don Parlagreco, who has pretty much taken care of most scoring. Don also built the DPL a nice swinger target. Jeff Parker, new CRGC member who is himself quite an IDPA competitor and has made and donated a couple different mover targets and stencils for the DPL. Chet Cichon, Pete, Ryan, Kevin along with all attending shooters. THANK YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH. You are all making this so much fun. If anyone is interested in trying this and meeting new friends and increasing your skills by shooting in a totally different atmosphere come on out. It is safe and very controlled. Just a reminder if you come out during an event like this. It is a COLD RANGE, which means absolutely no loaded guns in the club unless it is your turn to shoot and the Safety Officer (SO) tells you to load. So my point is if you show up even just to see what it is about and you carry, please clear your gun before you arrive or if you do forget just tell an SO and we will take you up front to clear your gun. No Big deal but please comply. Pistol permit classes are available very regularly; please contact me at 315-525- 6485 or rcd1964@hotmail.com (with Pistol class in the subject line). Just one more thing, if you do come to the club and see that it is a mess (meaning someone was a turd and didn t cleanup) please don t be afraid to help out and clean and if you feel inclined to make note of it or let us know please do so. If you see a member doing something unsafe or not cleaning up please say something if you re comfortable with it. If you are not please let us know by email or phone call or a note however you would like. We have a lot of members and to keep it safe and clean is everyone s responsibility. Soo ON DASHER, ON DANCER, ON PRANCER and VIXEN, ON COMET and CUPID and DONNER and BLITZEN and of course on RUDOLPH. MERRY CHRISTMAS To ALL and PLEASE HAVE A SAFE and FUN New Years too. News Letter Dude
