Accessibility: Level access into centre but outside paths are stones and could be uneven. 1429 Tuesday 8 th May Failand Inn, Failand Off again to this popular venue for lunch. Pick ups from 10.30 am for lunch at midday. 1430 Thursday 10 th May Yeo Valley Organic Garden and Tea Room Enjoy a stroll around the beds and borders at Yeo Valley Organic Gardens this afternoon and then an afternoon tea all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Pick ups from 12.00 noon.

1434 Tuesday 5 th June Salt & Malt, Chew Valley Returning to an old favourite of ours, with good food and afternoon teas in a modern tea shop with lake views and outdoor tables if the weather is kind. Pick ups from 12.00 noon. 1435 Saturday 9 th June Dig for Victory Show, Wraxall 5.00 A new one for us. The Dig For Victory Show is a fantastic 1940s family festival held in the beautiful North Somerset countryside, exploring the turbulent yet thought-provoking wartime years. Come and enjoy military vehicles, re-enactors, live music, dancing, history talks, vintage stalls, delicious local food including a lovely vintage tea room. Pick ups from 10.30 am. Entrance ticket 9.00. Accessibility: Venue is a field so be prepared for some walking on uneven surfaces, and it could be muddy! 1436 Thursday 14 th June Wells 15.00 Enjoy the beautiful city of Wells today hope the weather is kind. With a lovely restaurant for lunch and many outlet shops to peruse. Pick ups from 10.00 am Scooter Hire: 4 wheelchairs available for free we advise calling in advance to reserve on 01452 721444. 1439 Tuesday 26 th June Burnham-on-Sea 10.00 Enjoy a walk along the front and some sea air and then lunch at Fortes. If the weather is unkind it s off to Wyevale Garden Centre, previously Sanders Garden World. Pick ups from 10.00 am. Accessibility: Fairly level but some steps.

1440 Thursday 28 th June Dunelm/ The Range, Weston-super-Mare Join us for a visit to these two popular locations just outside Weston. Good café in Dunelm for when you need a breather. Pick ups from 12 noon. Accessibility: Fully accessible with lift to 2 nd floor in Dunelm. The Range is fully accessible too. 1441 Monday 2 nd July Cadbury Garden Centre, Congresbury Not just for pansies and petunias! Clothes, gifts, and kitchenwares are just some of what you can find at Cadbury. Nice café too for that cup of tea and slice of cake. Pick ups from 12 noon. Scooter Hire: 6 wheelchairs available and 2 scooters call 01934 875742/ 875700 1442 Wednesday 4 th July Bristol s Historic Harbour cruise and cream tea 20.00 inclusive All aboard for a cruise around the harbour which includes a cream tea on board. Boat departs at 2.30 pm from SS Great Britain and return time is 4.15 pm. Only 12 places available so book early. Pick ups from 12 noon. Accessibility: PLEASE be aware that there are 6/7 steps down onto the boat.

1443 Monday 9 th July Riverside Inn, Cheddar A popular venue for us join us for lunch at the Riverside Inn, Cheddar followed by a drive through the gorge for a bit of sightseeing. Pick ups from 10.30 am. 1444 Thursday 12 th July Bristol Old Vic Birdsong 25.00 inclusive Come with us to the theatre for the matinee performance of Birdsong. Set in pre-war France, it s a story of love and courage against the impending outbreak of WW1. We have purchased 12 tickets at a discounted price of 18.50 which is included in the trip cost of 25.00. Please note that you may not be home until early evening as the performance finishes at about 4.45 pm. Pick ups from 12 noon for a 2.30 pm start. 1445 Monday 16 th July Oakham Treasures and Farm Shop Step back in time and enjoy the memorabilia from days gone by at Oakham Treasures. There s a Tractor Museum and a room full of engines for those more mechanical amongst you. Time for tea at the Acorns Café as well. Entrance fee 7.00. Pick ups from 12 noon.

Good choice on menu for lunch. Pick ups from 10.30 am.. Accessibility: There is a ramp from the lower bar to the upper restaurant. Toilets are all on the level. 1448 Thursday 26 th July Farrington Farm Shop, Farrington Gurney Rustic store selling seasonal local produce with an artisan bakery, a craft butcher and a deli. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a bite to eat at The Udder Room Café. Pick ups from 12.30 pm

1449 Tuesday 31 st July Avon Valley Railway 10.00 This was a lovely trip last year so lets do it again, to Bitton and back plus cream tea on board for those who would like it. Price of train and cream tea is 15.00. Pick ups from 11.00 am as train leaves at 1.30 pm. Accessibility: There is some walking and some steps although a ramp, if needed, is available. 1450 Monday 6 th August The Old Inn, Hutton Hope you like this one menu choices are good and reasonable too, order with a friend and its 9.90 for two meals. Join us for this lunchtime trip to Hutton with pick ups from 10.30 am. Accessibility: Fully accessible from the front of the building. Some steps at the rear entrance. 1451 Tuesday 14 th August American Museum, Bath 10.00 Not been here for a while so let s see how popular this one is. The only museum of American decorative and folk art outside the United States. Entry cost is 11.00. Pick ups from 10.30 am. Café facilities available. Accessibility: Fully accessible via ramps and lift within Museum building. Parts of the grounds would prove difficult for wheelchair users.

1452 Friday 17 th August The Riverside Pub, Cheddar Come and have lunch in Cheddar and then enjoy a trip up through the gorge as well. Pick ups fro 10.30 am. 1453 Monday 20 th August Sidmouth, Devon 15.00 Hopefully the weather will be kind to us today as we take you to Sidmouth. Enjoy some sea air at this lovely location. Pick ups from 9.00 am. Accessibility: Mostly level but some steps/ kerbs. 1454 Thursday 23 rd August Labels Outlet Shopping, Ross-on-Wye 15.00 Our regular trip to this favourite outlet. Accessibility: Level access and lift to second floor. 1455 Thursday 30 th August Backwell House, Backwell Afternoon Tea 5.00 Enjoy a variety of sandwiches, scones, and cakes plus a good selection of teas in a beautiful setting. Go on spoil yourself! Service starts from 3.00 pm so pick ups will begin about 1 pm. Cost of afternoon tea 19.50. Accessibility: Fully accessible

Booking Arrangements for Trips We issue three trips programmes per year. You may book places from the date shown on the programme. To book a trip 1 Ring the ofce on 01275 855552. 2 Quote the date and trip number. 3 We will reserve you a place or, if the trip is full, put your name on a waitng list. 4 Please let us know if you need to bring a wheelchair, folding walker or trolley. 5 Please pay the driver for your trip on the day of travel. To cancel a trip 1 Ring the ofce on 01275 855552 as far in advance as possible. 2 Quote the date and trip number. 3 You may stll have to pay for a trip if you cancel it afer we have incurred costs, for example where we have already paid an entrance fee for you. To pay for your trip Please pay the driver for your trip on the day of travel. We accept payment by cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Nailsea & District Community Transport or NDCT
