#49 ROCKIES STARTING PITCHER ANTONIO SENZATELA RHP Height: 6-1 Weight: 229 Age: 22 (Jan. 21, 1995) Born: Valencia, Ven. Acquired: Signed as a non-drafted international free agent, Jul. 8, 2011 GRANDE LIGAS The 22-year old right-handed pitcher made his first Opening Day roster and made his Major League debut on April 6 vs. the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. Was signed as a non-drafted international free agent on July 8, 2011 signed by Rockies scouts Rolando Fernandez, Orlando Medina and Carlos Gomez. Added to the Rockies 40-man roster on November 20, 2015 has attended Major League Spring Training two times. Spent most of the 16 season on the disabled list with Double-A Hartford. SENZATIONAL Earned the win in his last start, April 22 against San Francisco in a 12-3 Rockies win allowed one run on four hits with no walks and three strikeouts. Did not allow a run until the sixth inning, when he allowed a solo home run. Recorded his third consecutive win of the season is the second Venezuelan pitcher to earn a win in three of his first four career starts (also: Jeanmar Gomez).
