FRANCHISE REGISTRATION Initiation Fees: Shall be $350 Annually due by August 1 of every year. Initiation fees cover Organization Membership, Organization management fees, Organization supplies, Playoff Lineage Fees, Championship Banner for the team that wins, Team Bonus Cash, and miscellaneous expenses to cover the Organizations operating costs. It is also used to establish a savings account for future expenses. A Franchise will not be considered a member of this Organization if they have not paid the Annual Franchise Fee. Upon payment of fees, the franchise will be deemed an official participating member. When a franchise registers and pays the Annual Membership fee to be part of the Organization, they are committing to participating and paying, in full, for the Season s Tour Events. The Franchise is responsible for making sure that all team members have received a copy of the Organization By Laws and Rules. Each Franchise will be allowed to have 2 voting members as members of the Organizations Senate. These members will serve one year terms and be replaced or re appointed each successive season by their respective teams. Each Senate member is allowed 1 vote on issues presented before the Senate. A special Facebook page will be formed for ease of voting. Any franchise wishing to modify these rules or the by laws must submit a written request prior to February 28 th of each year for consideration for the following season. Matters submitted must identify the old rule/by law and the proposed re written one or in the case of adding new by laws or rules, propose those in the form they will be implemented into the document with sufficient reasoning for proposed modifications. To prevent an abundance of requests each season, all requests require at least 25 active member signatures.

2. FRANCHISE MANAGEMENT All Team Members of Franchises shall be current members of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and are required to maintain a book average. It is the Team Member s responsibility to renew their USBC card each season. Team jerseys/shirts/hoodies/jackets are required and must have the Franchise name or Franchise logo displayed and permanently affixed to the shirt during competition. Franchises are responsible for outfitting each franchise member in team jerseys and may purchase apparel at any time and from any vendor they deem suitable at their own expense. It is recommended that each franchise maintain a few extra jerseys to utilize on new teammates in the event the personal jerseys do not arrive in advance of any event. COMPLETE beginning season rosters shall be submitted SEVEN full days prior to the first tour event. After which, requests for roster adjustments shall only be submitted with player name and bowlers USBC ID number. All Rosters will be viewable by other franchises. Each team must have a minimum number of rostered players to compete in tour events. Playing size will be dependent on the number of teams each season. Roster Adjustments: Franchises may choose to add, release or trade players over the course of the season. The purpose of roster adjustment rules is to maintain competitive fairness during the entire season. TRADES: Trading deadline without peer approval is January 31st of each year. After January 31st, all trades will be approved or disapproved by voting Senate members on franchises not involved in the transaction. Trades must receive 50% or greater approval from voting members to be approved. ADDING: Franchises may add new players at any time over the course of the season. Teams who wish to add players in advance of an event must make submittal to Organizational Manager at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event. However, after January 31st, to add players who were members of a different franchise in the current season will have to be approved or disapproved by votes from the other franchises not involved in the transaction. Acquisitions that meet these criteria must receive greater than 50% approval from voting members. RELEASING: Franchises may choose to release a player to Free Agency at any time; however, that player retains the rights to participate in any other Organization competitions with their prior teams jersey, or until such a time that the player is added to a different Franchise.

3.) AVERAGES 1. Highest Winter League Average from the prior bowling season with at least 21 games or more. If no winter league average from the prior season exists, the following can be used in the order presented: 2. Highest Summer League Average from prior bowling season with at least 21 games or more. 3. High Composite League Average from prior bowling season with at least 21 games or more. 4. If no USBC average exists, bowler will be evaluated by Organizations Re Rate Committee and an entering average will be provided until such a date as the member carries a 21 game league average and can submit a league standings sheet to show. Bowler shall always provide most current league standing sheet. If a request for Re Rate Committee is made, all relative information shall be forwarded to the Organizations Manager with the request. Handicap will be 80% of 230 in all organization events unless specifically identified as scratch. Re Rate Committee: Will consist of 3 Members selected by the Franchises designated Senate members. Re Rate Committee will be tasked with reviewing a Franchises request and evaluating all available materials at its disposal to determine a fair entering average. Re Rate Committee shall set aside all biases and evaluate the bowler on their ability. If bowler is member of team of Re Rate Committee member, Re Rate Committee member shall remove themselves from the decision process to avoid a conflict of interest and the remaining two members will make the determination. Re Rate committee may also be requested to evaluate any player appearing to bowl excessively above their entering average. Request to evaluate any players performance shall be made to the Organizations Manager. 4.) CODE OF CONDUCT Franchises and its members should conduct themselves in a manner that is not damaging or embarrassing to the Franchise or Organization.

5. ORGANIZATION EVENTS The Organization will host enough Regular Season Tour Events whereas each team will bowl each other team in the organization once. A position round to close out the regular season may be included in the season tour, but is not required. The purpose of the Season Tour is to determine the best team that season. The Organization will develop and provide for other individual/team competition to determine the top players/teams in each average division (I.E. Rankings). Rules for such competitions will be developed separately. The Organization will permit other events utilizing the Organizations namesake or as a promotional tool to drive entries so long as the event is in the best interest of the Organization. Franchises or Members who seek to organize an event shall contact the Director of Events to coordinate efforts to make sure events are successful. A. SEASON TOUR EVENTS a) Official Season Tour Events will be announced by August 31 of every year. b) Franchises are required to participate in the Season Tour and pay all fees associated with the Season Tour. c) Franchises must assure adequate competitive representation at Season Tour Events. A Franchise who regularly cannot field a full lineup may be at risk of losing its membership status with the Organization. d.) If an odd number of teams exist, one team will sit out at each tour event, unless it is a special format without head to head matchups. Match Setup The matches will use traditional recap sheets and each recap sheet will be accompanied by a master average list. Each pair will have a recap sheet. The lower ranked team will get to set it s roster last in a matchup. The higher ranked team is responsible for submitting its completed recap roster sheets to the opposing team ten minutes prior to match start time. The lower ranked team can then set its roster. A carbon copy of the recap completed sheets should be immediately provided to Event Staff for input into the score tracking system. When Nine or fewer franchises exist in a season, the 9 player roster and points system will be used. Each team forms three 3 person teams with three bowlers designated to bowl scratch and six bowlers designated to bowl with handicap. One pair will be scratch and the other two pairs handicap. Match Point System: Points will be awarded as follows. Each 3 person team game is worth 2 points. Each 3 person team total is worth 4 points. (10 Points available per pair) Total in each 9 person team series is worth 10 points. If there are any ties, then the points will be divided equally. MAXIMUM POINTS TO BE WON PER MATCH IS 40. When Ten or more franchises exist in a season, the 8 player roster and points system will be used. Each team forms two four person teams with two bowlers designated to bowl scratch and six bowlers designated to bowl with handicap. The scratch bowlers must anchor each of the 4 person teams. Teams shall indicate the scratch bowlers by placing an (S) in parenthesis next to the bowlers name. Each team will know not to add handicap to that players scores. A Franchise representative shall submit a carbon copy of the recap sheets to the Event staff once completed. This roster should be submitted no later than the first frame of the first game for date entry purposes.

Match Point System: (Peterson Point) Points will be awarded as follows. 1 point for each bowler game and 1 point for each bowler total. 1 point for each team game total and series total. 8 point bonus for 8 player total pins after 3 games. If there are any ties, then the points will be divided equally. MAXIMUM POINTS TO BE WON PER MATCH IS 40. Match Point System: Points will be awarded as follows. Each 4 person team game is worth 2 points. Each 3 game team total is worth 4 points. (10 Points available per pair) Total in each 8 person team series is worth 6 points. If there are any ties, then the points will be divided equally. MAXIMUM POINTS TO BE WON PER MATCH IS 26. Optional Team Relay Format Minimum of 9 players required to participate. Team Fee is $315. All bowlers of a team are assigned on the same pair. Teams move one pair right after each game. The top 5 scores from each team are tabulated to form the team s total score. Teams are ranked based on the total pins. Points Awarded for finishes 1 st 40 points 2 nd 35 points 3 rd 30 points 4 th 25 points 5 th 20 points 6 th 15 points 7 th 10 points 8 th 5 points

HIGH GAME POT The Max individual score will be 300. If 2 or more ABA bowlers bowl 300 or over with handicap they split the handicap pot. BRACKETS Brackets will be available and be run independently of the organization. STANDINGS/PLAYOFFS Standings in each District will be based on Highest Total Points (1st place) down to Lowest Total Points (last place). The top four teams (total points will determine the top four teams and their seed) will advance to the Playoffs. The team composition format for the Playoffs will be the same as the Regular season. See Match Rules. In the event of a tie(s) for playoff seeding, seeding will be determined with the following tiebreakers in order: Head to Head record (Points) Head to Head Total Pins Total Pins on the season Coin Flip DISTRICT PLAYOFFS ENTRY FEE BREAKDOWN DISTRICT PLAYOFFS Entry Fee Per Team = $0 ROUND 1 The #1 seed in the District will bowl the #4 Seed. The #2 seed in the District will bowl the #3 Seed. ROUND 2 (Finals) The winners of those matches will bowl each other in the Finals. Winner will be declared ABA Champion. Round 1 & Round 2 should be held on separate days.
