Each participant is out to enjoy sailing with other multihulls and is not officially racing. You can use whatever sails you please; spinnakers and motors are optional at all times. The only requirement is to have a good time! As this is a true cruising rally our focus is on enjoying the ride, not being the fastest to a destination. Depending on the mood of the committee (and bribes offered!), most days we will set a finishing time span and record everyone s finish time within that time span. We will then draw a time out of a hat and the boat that finished closest to that time will be the daily winner. That s as serious as it gets! AWARDS: Regular awards will be presented to those embracing the true spirit of the rally along with other prestigious awards such as: Biggest fish caught during the rally tag and release acceptable, photographic evidence required! Best gourmet meal cooked onboard during the rally Best budgie smugglers Best bikini Best figurehead Best joke Best dressed at 70 s night Best crew song/skit 9
