Examples of appropriate association would be: GMOs such as GDCTA, The Good Horseman Foundation, TAG DEA - Tennessee, Alabama, & Georgia Dressage & Eventing Association, Birmingham Dressage & CTA, SCDCTA, NCDCTA, etc. Hunter/Jumper associations such as GHJA, Alabama Hunter Jumper Association, Athens Area Hunter Jumper Association, Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, Middle Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association, NCAA Varsity Equestrian, North Carolina Hunter Jumper Association, North Florida Hunter Jumper Association, etc. 2) The show where you earned your scores must be a Qualifying Show. To be a Qualifying Show for the Southeastern Schooling Show Championships, the show: Must be recognized by your local riding association, i.e., the scores/points earned at that show must be eligible to count toward year-end awards Must be a non-usef/usdf/usea-sanctioned competition (USEF may define the competition as a Regular Competition or Local Competition both are eligible to host qualifying classes.) 3) Rider must show proof of volunteering at one event, either a recognized show or schooling show. 4) Rider must meet the eligibility requirements for your specific classes: a. 3-Phase Eventing: Place 1st through 5th at 2 qualified schooling shows (see #2) and must have at least 1 clear round on XC b. Combined Training: Place 1st through 5th at 2 qualified schooling shows (see #2) c. Show Jumping: Place 1st through 5th at 2 qualified schooling shows (see #2) d. Dressage: 2 scores at 60% or above from two different judges at the highest test of the level at 2 qualified schooling shows (see #2). Scores can be earned at the same show but must have been earned under different judges. AWARDS Association Highest Score Challenge: There will be an Association challenge for 3-Phase. The winner will be determined by averaging the scores across all divisions of the top 5 riders for each association. If there is a draw then it will go to the highest division. Awards for Open Show Classes: Divisions will run concurrently as one class. Classes with 25 or more entries will be split. Ribbons to sixth place for each class. Awards for the Championship Classes: Divisions will run concurrently as one class. Classes with 25 or more entries will be split. Trophies for Champions and Ribbons to sixth place for each class.
