This time the project will take place in Havering and Redbridge. The scheme is designed to give girls 12 years and under a chance to receive FREE coaching from qualified coaches for 8 weeks in a local school: in the sessions they will work with the girls to develop their skills and to help them become ready to play 7s netball with confidence. It s open to all girls no matter their experience (could have lots, could have none!) it is about fun and enjoyment, even the Free tournament at the end of the 8 weeks will be played in a relaxed environment to ensure it is a place for the girls to learn and experience Netball in different ways, but mainly the focus will be ensuring they are happy to be there! If you know any young Netball lovers who would like to come along, please contact Shona McCabe at Shona.McCabe@englandnetball.co.uk for more information and to book a place. The three match contest took place in Bath, London and Worcester. The opening match occurred at the University of Bath on Sunday 22nd September. Anna Mayes side started the series strongly and ran out victors in the South West. Three days later the action headed to London and Wembley Arena. England have a great record at the venue and secured the series with victory which continued our run of excellent results in front of a packed out arena in the nation s capital.
