Berthoud Community Library District Discover. Connect. Inspire. September October Newsletter A Note from the CEO Happy fall to all of you. We re running a short series of events about health and safety, so be sure to join us August 26 at 11:00 a.m. (not 10:00 a.m. as previously published) for Kids Bicycle Safety with the Berthoud Fire Department. For all you adults, Registered Dietician Emmy Ingham is teaching a seminar on the science of nutrition on September 15. Ladies Only Self- Defense is coming up on September 21 registration is required and the class size is limited, so ask us about that right away. We re doing what we can to help keep you healthy and whole in the coming months. Stay tuned, because October is right around the corner, and we ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher s Stone at a special event on Sunday, October 8. Play Quidditch, face down a dementor, compete for the House Cup, and

more! Tickets will be available mid-september, and all proceeds from the event will go to the Friends of the Berthoud Community Library. Escape Room: Race for the Cure! 09/23 9am,11am,1pm,3pm This is an interactive game in which participants must solve puzzles and work together to find the Cure for the Zombie Virus in one hour or less.
