Your support will be welcomed to the Beale Street venue by other supporters like Performa, the Beale Street Merchants Association, and the City of Memphis. The most important goal of Mid-South Pride has been our unwavering optimism for diversity and inclusion. Our annual, multicultural and educational event in Memphis highlights the continued need for better understanding, respect, fairness, justice and equality for all people regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Why should you become a sponsor? Companies sponsoring LGBT charities favorably influence 70% to 80% of LGBT consumers. It's a family thing. Within the LGBT community, 15% are already parents, and the number of LGBT parents is projected to dramatically increase as the majority of Gen Y plan to have children. income and based on market research, the numbers show, they strongly support businesses that sponsor LGBT events and media.
