GENERAL INFORMATION Skaters will be admitted to the off season school as follows: 1. Applications will not be accepted after April 3, 2018. Incomplete/Late applications will not be considered. 2. Payment must be submitted with Application: Full amount postdated for April 13 th with application for Spring. Full amount postdated for August 15 th for Fall. 3. Payment is by e-transfer to avalontreasurer@gmail.com Cheque or payable to Avalon Region SCNL Money Order payable to Avalon Region SCNL Note: Skaters that select Sundays during Spring School there are only 5 weeks of skating (Test day is on the 6 th Sunday) therefore an adjustment of $11.00 will be made to the rates Please ensure that Skaters First & Last Name is written on the memo line of the cheque/money order. Pre-Junior: Stages 4, 5, 6 and Star 1. Junior: Stage 6 or competing Star 1-5. Skater Classifications Intermediate: Must have passed Junior Bronze or Star 4 free skate test or Senior Bronze free skate test. Senior: Must have passed complete Junior Silver free skate test. Borderline students: After registration a coach may request to move either up or down if necessary and if space available. Half tests will be considered next. Please contact Kevin Walsh with your requests. Skaters may be moved by Administrator (Kevin Walsh) to accommodate spaces on sessions not full after start of school. Note: All skaters must arrange lessons with a coach of their choice. Coaches must sign application. Note All tests must have complete Freeskate test. Skaters with half test levels will be considered by Administration committee. Skaters applying to move up must register first in their proper skating level session and apply to move up with a letter. Number of sessions a skater can sign-up for may be limited due to number of skaters. The Intermediate session on and Junior Session on Sunday will proceed depending on the number of registrations. 3
