All open and unattached entry requests are to be emailed to Kevin Ondrasek (kevino@ou.edu) for consideration. Individual entries will not be confirmed until 8:00PM (CST), Wednesday, January 31 st. We have added finals of the 60M Dash for Olympic Development athletes (M/W). These events will be for the Top 6 unattached athletes. Please email your entry request to Kevin Ondrasek (kevino@ou.edu), with the subject line Olympic Development. These entries will not be confirmed until 8:00PM (CST), Wednesday, January 31 st. Team entry fee (14 or more athletes) is $300 per gender per team or $20 per individual / relay with 13 or less athletes. Open / Unattached entry fee will be $20 per athlete or $5 per athlete for those with a valid University of Oklahoma student ID. Opening Heights High Jump: Women: 1.49M Men: 1.80M Pole Vault: Women: 3.22M Men: 4.40M Visiting Team Practice Warm-Up Facility Packets Parking Team Camps Training Room Implement Weigh-In Seeding The Mosier Indoor Facility will be open to visiting teams for practice on Friday, February 2 from 5:00pm 7:00pm. The Everest Indoor Football Facility will be utilized for warm-ups on Saturday, February 3. Athletes will have access to hurdles. Coaches and athletes may pick up packets in the Mosier Center on Saturday, February 3 at 8:00am. Parking is available in the eastern most portion of the Duck Pond parking lot. Enter the lot from Brooks Street and head to the far east end (the end closest to the Duck Pond) on Saturday. A pedestrian gate on the northeast corner of the John Jacobs Track Facility opens to a sidewalk that crosses over to the entryway of the Mosier Indoor Facility. Access to Brooks Street is possible from north or southbound Jenkins Avenue (the street that runs on the east side of Oklahoma Memorial Stadium). All team camps will be set up in the Everest Indoor Football Facility. There is no outside food or drink (except water) inside of Everest. Team lunches must be brought into the lobby and kept out of Everest. Athletic trainers will be present in the Mosier Center. Requests for use of specific training modalities must be made to our athletics training staff at (405) 325-8001. Weights and Measures will be located at the throws area. All implements must be weighed-in at least one-hour prior the start of each throwing event. In field events with multiple flights, determined by entry mark, the unseeded section will compete first followed by the seeded section. In the running events, determined by entry marks, heats will proceed fastest to slowest.
Advancement Procedures Field Events top 9 COLLEGIATES will advance to final Running Events top 8 COLLEGIATES will advance to a two section final in the 60 Meters and 60 Meter Hurdles. Preferred Lanes Straight Sprint Races: 4-3-5-2-6-1 Oval Sprint Races: 5-6-4-3-2-1 Spikes Spikes must not exceed 1/4". High jumpers may use 3/8" spikes. Only pyramid spikes will be permitted. Scoring Results Meet Information The JD Martin Invitational will be a scored competition for DIVISION I teams only. Non-Division I teams and individuals not on a team will not be included in team scoring. Live results be available online at pttiming.com, as well as final results will be available on the University of Oklahoma Athletics website - www.soonersports.com. In addition, printed results will be available throughout, and at the conclusion of the meet. Final team scoring will be posted on www.soonersports.com no later than the Tuesday following the competition. Please direct all inquiries and scratches to the meet director.
