STEELERS RADIO COVERAGE MEDIA NOTES WEEKLY PRESS CONFERENCE Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin will conduct a press conference on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at approximately Noon in the Steelers press conference room at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. For the 20th consecutive year, WDVE-FM (102.5) and WBGG-AM (970) are carrying all Steelers games. 2018 SCHEDULE NOTES The Steelers are slated to appear in fi ve nationally televised primetime games, including two at Heinz Field, during the NFL s 2018 regular season, it was announced when the NFL unveiled its 2018 regular season schedule. Pittsburgh will open its 2018 regular season schedule at the Cleveland Browns in Week One on Sunday, Sept. 9 (CBS, 1 p.m.). The Steelers will host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week Two on Sunday, Sept. 16 for their 2018 regular season home opener at Heinz Field (CBS, 1 p.m.). Pittsburgh s two home nationally televised primetime games in 2018 are scheduled for Week Four when it hosts the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 8:20 p.m.) and Week 10 when it hosts the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football (FOX/NFLN 8:20). The Steelers three other primetime matchups in 2018 will occur on the road in Weeks Three, 11 and 14. The team will travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week Three (Sept. 24) for a Monday Night Football tilt (ESPN, 8:15 p.m.). Pittsburgh heads to Jacksonville in Week 11 (Nov. 18) to face the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football (NBC, 8:20 p.m.) and caps off its regular season primetime schedule in Week 14 (Dec.) with a Sunday Night Football game at the Oakland Raiders (NBC, 8:20 p.m.). The Steelers bye week will be on Oct. 21 (Week Seven). STEELERS 2018 DRAFT CLASS S Terrell Edmunds (6-1, 217) Rd. 1 28th Overall Played collegiate football at Virginia Tech where he appeared in 37 games, making 31 starts he totaled 182 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for losses Edmunds started all 10 games en route to recording 59 tackles during the 2017 season. WR James Washington (5-11, 213) Rd. 2 60th Overall Set an Oklahoma State University school record with 4,472 career receiving yards, also the second-best receiving yardage total in Big 12 conference history he became one of two players in school history with three seasons of at least 1,000 receiving yards and three years with at least 10 touchdown catches. QB Mason Rudolph (6-5, 235) Rd. 3 76th Overall Led Oklahoma State University to a 32-9 record as the quarterback to produce the winningest record by a signal caller in school history he fi nished his career holding no fewer than 54 school records, including single-season and career marks for passing yards, passing touchdowns and pass efficiency his 13,618 career passing yards rank him fourth in Big 12 conference history. OL Chukwuma Okorafor (6-8, 320) Rd. 3 92nd Overall At Western Michigan University, started each of his fi nal 39 games he was a fi rst-team All-American selection following the 2017 campaign by the Football Writers Association of America.
