This is a great accomplishment that we hope would encourage more usage of our dining rooms. October was a busy month at the Club and November looks very promising. We have scheduled a Country Buffet on Saturday, November 1 st to coincide with the Clint Black concert. On the 11 th, we will have another Members Apprecia on Buffet and will again have live entertainment provided by Art Noyes. Those who heard him sing last me he was here were very impressed by his talent, knowledge, and voice. On the 13 th, we will hold our last wine dinner for the year and will feature all the Members Top Picks from previous wine dinners held throughout the year. Our wine of the month for November is Francis Coppola, Diamond Collec on Cabernet Sauvignon from California. Thanksgiving Harvest Buffet Social Corner Country Buffet Wine Dinner Members Appreciation Thanksgiving Carry Out Menu Calendar This year, we are again coun ng on your generosity by contribu ng to our Employee Christmas Fund. The voluntary contribu on is billed this month to have the funds ready in December to provide for our employee Christmas party and Christmas bonuses, which include all employees of the Club. The amount remains at $25 and may be increased, decreased, or eliminated at your discre on. We are working on a new menu and welcome your input because it does make a difference. Happy Thanksgiving! New From the Golf Shop PAGE 3 November is just about here and so is that nice, cool, fall weather. This past month we hosted several fun and interesting events that kept the golf course busy. The fall and winter golf lines are starting to come in so stop by and check out what s new in the golf shop. Some of the lines and items featured in the golf shop are: Adidas Tail Sun Mountain PING G30 Callaway FootJoy Bolle Bushnell Razorback Gear Titleist Oxford Ladies golf is going strong this fall so make sure to come and join the fun and games these last couple of weeks. We also hosted the WGA Ladies Oil Belt Invitational this past month. The event went great and was a lot of fun! Thanks to all of our Lady Members that participated in the event, and all those that helped put the event together! I want to thank all of the couples that participated in this seasons Couple s Golf. The season was a great success, and we look forward to another fun year in 2015. Also congratulations to our 2014 Couples Champions: Our last golf event for the year is: LEE & LENSA WARDEN FALL BASH SCRAMBLE ---------- November 1 st A reminder to our golfers, please try to keep our carts on the paths around the tee boxes and greens, fill your divots, and fix your ball marks on the golf course to help us keep our course in good playing condition throughout the year. Thank You! There will be several projects going on this winter and fall on the golf course. We will be sodding, landscaping, and removing 3 bunkers on holes #6, #7, and #16. Please avoid these areas while they are being worked on for your safety. For any information or details on some of the other projects we will be working on this winter please do not hesitate to ask myself, or our general manager. Will Hartenstein Head Golf Professional Attention Men s 19 th Hole Locker Room For those members that currently have lockers in Men s 19 th Hole Locker Room, I will be starting a clean up project this winter. This project will involve cleaning up old lockers both inside and out & issuing new locks (removing old locks) and name labels to identify all lockers. If you would please call, email, or stop by and give me your combination that would be great! Thanks! - Golf Staff -
