Block Play Tuesday & Thursday 1:00 PM 3:00 PM Ages 1-4 Free Come join us Friday afternoons and play with a variety of buildable & stackable toys. Including Building Blocks, Squigz, Gears, and Tinker Toys. Parents must be present and participate during the activity. This is an unstructured program where participants may come and go anytime during the scheduled play time. Mommy & Me: Dance Wednesday 10:15 AM 11:00 AM Ages 1-4 $20 Dance around together with your children to some fun music. This class uses toys and props to get kids and parents engaged with a Varity of songs. Parents must be present and participate in all activities of this class. Tiny Tot Sports Wednesday 1:15 PM 2:00 PM Ages 3-5 $20 Enjoy fun games and activities each week that are based on various sports: including soccer, basketball, softball and hockey.

Moapa Valley Recreation Center s open recreation program is a FREE drop in program that is supervised by staff, and provides board games, crafts, video games, foosball and ping pong tables. All participants may come and go as they please. Participants are also invited to join in staff organized activities. Parents MUST complete a registration form prior to the child s participation. Registration forms may be picked up and returned to the Moapa Valley Recreation Center. Children are required to sign themselves in and out of the program. Robot Sumo Monday 4:00 PM 5:00 PM Ages 11-17 $25 This class helps participants learn how to build a sumo robot out of KNEX and program the various sensors. Participants will challenge their robot against various obstacles and use their robots in a pushing match against one another's robots. Tumbling Kinder Monday 4:30 PM 5:30 PM Kindergarten $25 Tumbling Beginner Wednesday 3:30 PM 4:30 PM 1st 5th Grade $25 Tumbling Intermediate Wednesday 4:15 PM 5:30 PM 1st 5th Grade $30 Current Participants get priority registration, please register for waitlist if program fills. These classes covers all the basics of running and standing tumbling such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and back handsprings. In the beginner class we focus on form and technique. Classes held at Grant Bowler Elementary School Piano Wednesday 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Ages 8+ $65 Clark County Parks and Recreation is offering 30 minute private piano lessons, with instructor Martha Ham. Lessons are for beginner piano players or for those who are looking to start learning how to play.

Youth Volleyball November 1 to December 6 Youth Volleyball League allows participants to play volleyball in game situations and learn the rules of the game while applying basic skills they learned at practice. Volleyball League is for 4th - 5th graders and each team will have a practice at least once a week. Volunteer coaches choose practice times. Please consider coaching your child s team. Practices held in the Fine Arts Building. Games are Thursday evenings and will be at the Moapa Gym. Fee includes team shirt and participation trophy. Junior Volleyball is for 2nd -3rd graders. This is NOT a league, but a weekly clinic run by Parks & Rec Staff. Participants will learn basic volleyball skills to prepare for league play. Fee does not include shirt or trophy. Clinic is held in the Moapa Gym on Thursdays. Stretch N Tone Mon / Wed 9:15 AM 10:00 AM Ages 18+ Free Strengthen and stretch your body in this low impact work out. The majority of the exercises will be in a sitting positions. Participants must register for each 6 week session. Exercise Monday Friday 7:30 AM 8:10 AM Ages 18+ This program shows a variety of exercise videos that help guide your morning exercise.
