Robles finished with a GNAC season-high 427 yards, rushing for 176 yards and completing 13 of 27 passes for 251 yards. He contributed six touchdowns, scoring on runs of 15 in the first quarter and 34 in the third quarter and tossing TD passes of 9 yards to Randon Willard in the opening period, 11 to tight end Joe Don Duncan and 7 to Willard in the second quarter and 48 to Duncan in the third period Defense Isaiah Davis, Central Washington (DB, 5-10, 176, So., Bremerton, WA South Kitsap) tied a GNAC single-game record with three interceptions and also had seven tackles in a 21-13 road win at Humboldt State. Davis first interception in the third quarter came near midfield, however, the latter two came in the fourth period deep in Humboldt territory (at the 14-yard line on a secondand-three play from the 38 and at the 10-yard line on a first-and-10 play from the 30). Davis also broke up two other passes and had 104 return yards, including seven on one punt return, 80 on three kickoffs and 17 on the three interceptions. He is the seventh player in GNAC history to record three interceptions in the same contest. Specialty Jamie Cacciatore, Azusa Pacific (K, 5-8, 175, So., Orange, CA El Modena) was a perfect four of four of field goals converting from 40, 26, 28 and 26 yards as the Cougars edged Western Oregon 34-32. His fourth field goal gave APU a 34-19 lead with 7:33 remaining in the fourth quarter. Honorable Mention Jordan Todd, Central Washington (RB, 5-6, 186, So., Bellevue, WA Interlake) recorded his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season, netting 127 yards on 30 carries, including a 40-yard touchdown gallop in the third quarter. Todd s TD was the only one during the second half... Dasmen Stewart, Azusa Pacific (QB, 6-4, 225, Sr., Oxnard, CA San Jose State) had 281 yards in total offense and rushed for two touchdowns leading the Cougars to a 34-32 road win at Western Oregon. Stewart scored on a pair of one-yard runs in the second and fourth quarter. Stewart, who was making his first start since APU s season opener, completed 16 of 23 passes for 191 yards and also netted 90 yards on 11 rushes... Sean Barber, Azusa Pacific (LB, 6-1, 220, Sr., Edgewood, WA Puyallup) led the Cougars with a careerhigh 16 tackles, including 11 solos. He also forced two fumbles. It was the third game in a row in which Barber has either equaled or set a new career high for tackles. In his two previous games, he had a total of 15 tackles in each... Patrick Tepea, Western Oregon (DB, 6-0, 200, Jr., Kailua, HI) had 137 yards on three kickoff returns, including a 90-yarder for a touchdown. He also had six tackles. INDIVIDUAL STELLAR GAMES 100-Yard Rushing Games: 4 Jordan Todd, CWU; Terrell Watson, APU. 2 Chris Tolbert, SFU; Griff Robles, DSU. 1 Kyle Morris, HSU; Jamarie Sanders, HSU; Myles Burton. 1

200-Yard Passing Games: 5 Griff Robles, DSU. 4 Ryan Bergman, WOU. 3 - Kyle Morris, HSU. 2 Ryan Stanford, SFU. 300-Yard Passing Games: 1 Ryan Bergman, WOU; Griff Robles, DSU; Ryan Stanford, SFU. 100-Yard Receiving Games: 2 Tyrell Williams, WOU. 1 Joe Don Duncan, DSU; Lemar Durant, SFU; Mitch Frei, DSU; Kelechi Nwadibia, HSU; Michael Reeve, WOU; Chase Krivashei, HSU. GNAC COMPETES IN SUPER REGIONAL III: The GNAC will compete in Super Regional III this fall for the second year in a row. Also part of the 44-team Super Regional III is the MIAA (Mid-America), the Great American Conference and the Northern Sun. Six teams from each of the four regions qualify for the playoffs. EARNED ACCESS: Earned access berths are awarded to conferences which have a team ranked in the Top 8 in their region. Six teams from each region qualify for the playoffs. The impact of earned access is that if a team is ranked seventh or eighth, but qualifies for the earned access berth, it would qualify for the playoffs, displacing a team ranked above it in the top six. With only five playoffeligible members, the GNAC does not currently receive an earned access berth. Azusa Pacific is a provisional NCAA member and is not eligible for the playoffs. GAME RECAPS Azusa Pacific 34, Western Oregon 32 (at Monmouth): Quarterback Dasmen Stewart had 281 yards in total offense and rushed for two touchdowns leading the Cougars to a 34-32 road win at McArthur Stadium... Stewart scored on a pair of one-yard runs in the second and fourth quarter. The latter gave the Cougars a 29-19 lead... Jamie Cacciatore then stretched Azusa Pacific s lead to 34-19 on a 26-yard field goal with 7:33 left... Western Oregon, however, drove 90 yards in 13 plays to pull within eight points on a six-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Bergman to Antoinne Wafer... The Wolves then recovered an onside kick and Bergman led WOU on a eight-play, 54-yard drive capped off by a 23-yard TD pass to Tyrell Williams. With 60 seconds remaining, WOU went for two to tie the game but wasn t able to convert and APU, which controlled the football for 40 minutes, 18 seconds compared to 19 minutes, 42 second for WOU, was able to run out the clock... Graves scored on a 40-yard fumble return late in the second quarter after picking up a fumble which was forced by linebacker Ridge Nielsen. That was one of a game-high nine tackles for Nielsen, who was credited with 2 ½ tackles for losses of 13 yards...cwu also scored touchdowns on a 59-yard pass from quarterback Jake Nelson to Jesse Zalk in the second quarter and on a 40-yard by running back Jordan Todd in the third period... Last week, Robles had 401 yards, rushing for 118 yards and passing for 283 in a 49-24 win over Humboldt State... Robles leads the GNAC in 200-yard passing games, reaching that figure in all five of Dixie State s contests... Robles and Myles Burton combined for 303 of Dixie s school-record 333 rushing yards. Watson also surpassed the 2,000- yard career rushing mark increasing his total to 2,130. He also extended his streak of games with a rushing touchdown to eight and his streak of games rushing for 165 or more yards to four. Defense Deionte Gordon, Central Washington (DB, 6-1, 203, Sr., Seaside, CA Sacramento State) had three takeaways, setting up two of the Wildcats three touchdowns in a 20-7 home win against Western Oregon. Gordon set up CWU s second first-quarter touchdown with a 22-yard interception return to the WOU 20-yard line. He also had five tackles and broke up a pass. Special Teams Jamie Cacciatore, Azusa Pacific (K, 5-8, 175, So., Orange, CA El Modena) booted a 52-yard field goal equaling the third longest in GNAC history in the Cougars 36-20 road win at Dixie State. The NFL veteran booted a 54-yarder against Central Oklahoma in 2001. Week of Sept. 16-22: Offense Chris Tolbert, Simon Fraser (RB, 6-0, 190, Jr., Silver Springs, MD) and Ryan Bergman, Western Oregon (QB, 6-2, 175, Jr., Issaquah, WA)... He rushed for 106 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown run which set up a game-tying two-point conversion pass from quarterback Ryan Stanford to Bobby Pospischil. Tolbert caught a total of four passes for 38 yards... Bergman tied the GNAC and the WOU school record tossing six touchdown passes in a 51-32 home win. Bergman completed 23 of 32 passes for 417 yards.
