Sincerely, IRONMAN VIP Team WHAT S NEXT VIP Check-In VIP check-in will be at the VIP tent located inside the IRONMAN Village Expo located at the Boulder High School, 1604 Arapahoe Ave, 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Thursday thru Saturday. At check-in you will receive your VIP access credentials, wristband, other race materials including a parking pass for the swim start. VIP staff will also be one hand to answer any questions you might have about the event and your VIP benefits. Race Day VIP wristbands will be required for all guests inside VIP areas on on race day, the only exceptions are children under the age of 6. There will be VIP areas at both the Swim Start and in downtown Boulder at the Finishline. A full schedule can be found on page 4 and parking and shuttle info is on page 7.

PARKING & SHUTTLES Swim Start VIPs have the option to drive their own vehicle to the swim start on P race morning, or take the athlete and spectator shuttle from Exit Route Swim Finish Swim Start Boulder High School. Race Morning VIP Parking Passes If you would like to drive your own vehicle to the swim start on race morning, you can pick-up a VIP Parking Pass when you come to check-in. (See times on page 4) Only vehicles with a VIP Parking Pass on the dashboard will be allowed to enter the reservoir on race morning. Race Morning Shuttles If you prefer to take the shuttle from Boulder High School on race morning, they will start running at 4:00AM and will run continuously through 10:00AM. Look for the VIP ENTRANCE sign at the front of the first shuttle line. With your race day VIP wristband and credential you will be able to enter at the front of the line. When exiting the reservoir and heading back to town, please note that you will need to head North on 51st Street due to bike course road closures. The easiest way to get back down town will be to follow the shuttle buses returning spectators to Boulder High School, which is within walking distance of the finish line. Shuttle Start Time: Last Shuttle Returns: Pickup/Drop Off Location: 4:00 AM 10:00 AM Boulder High School 1604 Arapahoe Ave. Finish Line There are no designated parking areas for the finish line area of this event. We recommend making use of surface street parking and local lots.
RACE COURSE MAPS The 2.4-mile swim at the boulder Reservoir will have water temps in the 70 s the one-loop course will travel north first along the reservoir dam and will head west and then south. The first of two transitions will also be at the Boulder Reservoir. The swim VIP will Viewing be a rolling Locations start, athletes will enter the water in a continuous stream through a controlled access point, similar to how running road races are started. An athlete s times will start when they cross timing mats under the swim arch. Age Group athletes will begin entering the water at 6:30 a.m. it is expected to take 30 minutes for all athletes to enter the water; we estimate everyone will be in the water by 7 a.m. The swim course will close 2 hours and 20 minutes after the last age group athlete starts the swim. Each athlete will get the full 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete the 2.4 mile swim regardless of what time they enter the water.
RACE COURSE MAPS The 112 Mile multi-loop course is entirely within boulder County and features amazing mountain views with some of the same roads trained on by many of our local world champion triathletes. The course has a handful of decent climbs but has a lot of fast and flat sections to keep athletes moving. VIP Viewing Locations Athletes exit the reservoir from the Swim Transition and head south on 51st and then enter the Run Transition area by turning left onto 17th Street after completing the second loop of the course.
RACE COURSE MAPS This is a two loop course with 3 out and backs on each loop. We call it the flux Capacitor. This course features everything about boulder we love A well shaded bike path and plenty of spectator viewing points for everyone. From the Bike Transition, athletes will exit on the Northwest side of transition and will Cross over Arapahoe road heading north on 13th street to the finish line upon completion of their second lap. There will be aid stations approximately every mile of the course. VIP Viewing Locations
