Fall Family Festival Friday, October 26 5:30pm- 8:00pm Purpose: This is an opportunity to bring in the community to visit our church and learn about Jesus through our love and witness. Booth Sponsorship 1. Chose a booth you or your group would like to sponsor- Sign up is available on Sign Up Genius. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d45aaac2fa02-2018 2. Each group or person is asked to provide one bags of candy for The PRIZE box. 3. Games with winners will be provided with tickets to hand out for purchase items from the prize box. 4. Set up may be done anytime after noon on Friday. Booth must be set up and ready to go by Friday at 5:30pm. 5. Booths need to be manned from 5:30-8pm. 6. Each group is responsible to clean up. We ask you to take down the materials at the booth and put them on the stage unless otherwise instructed. Please make sure your area is clean. We also need help taking down tables and chairs. This helps everyone be able to leave for the evening at an earlier time. 7. It is hoped that those manning a booth would be willing to dress up in costume. (I will have some Bible costumes available if you wish to wear one of these.) 8. Each booth will have a sign attached highlighting the group or persons sponsoring it. Materials for the community about your group may be handed out!

Bounce Houses Provided: bounce house and obstacle course already set up Needs: candy, 5 attendants; 6 to take down. One person needs to help at the bounce house and four attendants need to watch kids on the obstacle course. (SAFETY COMES FIRST) Guest will: Jump for Joy in Jesus in the bounce house and Run the Good Race through the obstacle course. Set up: Bounce houses will be set up. Goliath Slingshot: Provided: slingshots, Goliath, hula hoop, prize tickets Needs: candy, bag of marshmallows, two people to run the booth. Guest will: kids will use slingshots to fling lightweight balls at Goliath s head. He will literally be nine feet tall. Set Up: Hang Goliath on the wall. Take down: Take down Goliath, rollup, and secure with rubber band. Other: optional; someone dressed, as David would be awesome. Moses Red Sea Pumpkin Bowling Provided: pins, lanes, soldiers to tape on pins, and waves Needs: Two attendants, pumpkins of various sizes, with several finger holes drilled in pumpkins if desired. Guest will: try to knock down all of Pharaoh s Army. Set up: Soldiers need to be taped on bowling pins and waves taped on lane borders. Take down: pins need to be boxed up, waves taken off the steps, and steps put away. Other: optional, but someone dressed as Moses would be awesome (costume available)

Falling Walls of Jericho: Provided: Boxes covered with a stone wall paper, balls to kick, horns to blow Needs, Blocks need to be setup as a wall, if your group could help cover boxes, please let me know. Two people will need to work this game. Guest will: throw balls and attempt to knock down the entire wall in three tries. If they do, they will get to blow the horns! Everyone will get a candy for trying, ticket if they win. Set Up: Arrange blocks to make a wall Take down: Blocks put away in boxes Other: optional, someone dressed as Joshua would be awesome Daniel and the Lion s Den (Was Chuck a Duck) Provided: We provide lion stand and bean bags, and prize tickets Needs: two or three people to run, tape to mark line Guest will: attempt to get the beanbags through the lion s mouths. Candy for trying, one ticket for every beanbag in a lion s mouth. Costume of Daniel recommended Set Up: Lion Props Take down: Tarp and stands taken down and put Queen Esther s Face-Painting Boutique Provided: tables, paintbrushes, one high chair Needs: face paint, (refund available) Guest will: have face painted with various pictures Set Up: As needed Registration Table: Provided: Table, hand outs, pens, name tags, bags Needs: Happy people to welcome guest, ready to greet at 5:00pm Guest will: be greeted, fill out information, and get in line for a picture. Set Up: Organize materials Take Down: Clean up materials, sort, and put box on the stage. Decorating Committee: Needs: We need people to help us set up during the day of event & decorate!

Fishing for Men! Small individual fish bowls are lined on table or floor. (Bowls provided) Several bowls are filled with goldfish (goldfish need to be purchased along with large container of food that can be put into zip lock bag) Ping-pong balls are tossed. If child gets in the bowl with fish, they take it home- we provide small zip-lock baggie with food. Ping-pong balls that land in empty bowls receive consolation prize. Sampson High Strike Game Provided: High Strike Game Needs: Bag of Candy for prize box Guest will: have three tries to ring the bell suspended on top of the tower. If the lever is struck with enough force, the puck will rise high enough to hit the bell, indicating a success. Candy for trying, ticket for ringing bell. Set Up: Just practice before kids arrive. Take Down: None Other: Optional, someone dressed up as Sampson Float Noah s Ark Provided: boats with numbers on the bottom, prize tickets, Noah s Ark display Needs: Bag of Candy for prize box Guest will: have three tries to pick up two boats and get a match. One ticket for trying and one more for every match. Set Up: Boats set up and Noah s Ark display Take Down: Put all materials in box Other: Optional, someone dressed up as Noah.

Two by Two Toss: a. Provides: Back drop, green grass, balls b. Needs: Cheap tiny baskets-(dollar tree), candy, c. Guest will: try and toss the balls into two of three three baskets to win tickets for prize box. d. Set Up: Stand and baskets set up e. Take Down: close up ark standup; gather baskets, balls, and animals. f. Other: optional, someone dressed as matching animal would be great (Masks available) Joseph s Coat of Many Colors Provided: Fun Spinner, Art Cards, Photo op of Joseph s coat Needs: Bag of Candy for prize box Guest will: Pick colors for the art, put in the machine and it will spin their art. Set Up: You will need to run the machine before the booth opens. Take Down: Clean up mess, put photo op on stage. Family Treasure Hunt: Return to VBS Shipwrecked for a fun family interactive Treasure Hunt. Collect coins as you find all you need in Jesus! Booth experiences on next page.

Oh No! Volcano-Blood pressures may rise at Oh No! Volcano Provided: Volcano, Several orange 2 liter sodas, mentos, coins, and lava putty Needs: Two adults for this station. One for volcano and one to share we find comfort in Jesus Guest will: watch the eruption of volcano, squish and squeeze some Keep Cool Lava and find comfort from Jesus. Take Down: Empty and clean volcano. Put items in correct box on the stage. BEST FRIENDS BEACH- Friendship Sand dollar bracelet. Provided: Materials for making the friendship bands. Needs- Two adults, one to share Jesus is with us always. Kids and families will: find a sand dollar s hidden treasure and create customized Best Friend Bands to remind them that Jesus is always with them. Through this creative experience, castaways find friendship with Jesus! Take Down: Empty and clean area. Put items in correct box on the stage. Bamboozled Jungle: Provided: Materials for making decoder tubs. Needs- two adults who will share how we find help from Jesus. Flabbergasted castaways: find help from Jesus as they decipher a mystery message and discover that Jesus helps us when we re puzzled. They ll make their very own Bamboozlers to help others crack a mystery code! Take Down: Empty and clean area. Put items in correct box on the stage.

Sandy Beach- Magic Sand Provided: Tubs, water, magic sand, script Needs: two adults who will share how we find help from Jesus. Castaways: hear the good news about do-overs from Jesus as they play with Safe and Sound Sand. They ll see how, even when we re sunk in sin, Jesus gives us a fresh start. Through this grace-filled experience, castaways find do-overs from Jesus Take Down: Empty and clean area. Put items in correct box on the stage.. Searching for Treasure Provided: pool, rice, treasure chests and toys, little shovels Needs: Candy, 1 or 2 people needed for booth, Guest will: dig in the pool to find the items for the story and then hear the story with the items. Set Up: None- all will be ready- need to refill with prizes Take Down: Empty filling, put toys in Ziploc bag. Clean up area. Jonah s Football Throw Provided: Poles, tarp, and footballs. Needs: Candy, one or two adults for booth. Guest will: be given 3 chances to throw the football through the goals. They get a ticket for each football tossed through the tarp. If they don t they get a candy prize. Set up: Tarp needs to be strung up on poles Take Down: Take down tarp, poles, and clean up area.
