Faith, Family, and Fun as we follow in His Footsteps October 6th & 7th FALL FESTIVAL MEETING You are invited to attend the next Fall Festival meeting on Wednesday, September 19th, at 6:45 p.m. in the school cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you! WE NEED SWEETS! St. James Fall Festival T-Shirt order form is in this newsletter. These T-Shirts may be worn to school EVERY Friday until Fall Festival. Fudge Brownies Cakes Cookies (Homemade or store bought. Individually wrapped is best!) All sweets with your child s name and class will count toward the Cake Walk Pizza Party. Please bring the sweets to school on Friday, October 5th (marked Sweets Booth ), or anytime during the Festival. Stuffed Animal Booth Please send in new or gently used stuffed animals for our Fall Festival Stuffed Animal Booth. Please place items in the drop-off box located in the hallway near the school cafeteria. Prize Booth It s time to clean out those toy boxes, closets, and storage bins! We are collecting fast food toys, stocking stuffers, Mardi Gras goodies, and other new and gently used trinkets to be given as booth prizes at our Fall Festival. C O L L E C T I O N B O X E S

H A U N T E D H O U S E Our Fall Festival Haunted House is in need of Halloween Decorations! If you have any Halloween Decorations you think would help our Haunted House be Spooktacular, please send them in! Decorations for our Haunted House can be donated OR used on loan and returned to you after the Fall Festival!

Fall Festival Talent Show will be held on Saturday, October 6th, from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. More information about the Talent Show will be included in future Fall Festival newsletters. A Costume Contest will follow the Talent Show at 5:00 p.m. A prize will be given to the person wearing the Best Costume!

White Elephant Booth The Fall Festival White Elephant Booth is looking for your Oldies but Goodies! Usable, working household items, toys, puzzles, art, furniture and more will be appreciated. Usable, clean children s clothing size 6 and under will be accepted. No other types of clothing will be accepted. We will take children s books ONLY. We are not taking older style TVs and monitors. Volunteers are needed to donate, arrange, organize, and supervise this booth. The work starts approximately two weeks before and continues through the Fall Festival. Please contact Sally Bartlett at 228-896-6700 if you would like to donate or volunteer. Please leave a message. After September 20th, please drop off White Elephant Booth items between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Parish Center.

Cakes We need em! Cake Walk Channel your inner baker! If you can Bake em or Buy em We ll take em!!! I can donate (number) of cakes for the Fall Festival Cake Walk. Child s Name Teacher s Name Please remember to drop cakes off on Friday, October 5th. Volunteers will be waiting along the Car Rider Drop-Off and Pick-Up Locations to accept cakes. Please make sure to list your child s name and teacher s name on your cake container, so your class gets credit for donations. The class with the most donations wins a PIZZA party! Mrs. Sindy Holder s class is sponsoring the cake walk booth. Please volunteer and you will earn your service hours! The Singing Angels Fall Festival Program Schedule

Raffle Tickets were sent home last week. Finish in First for the Fall Festival Raffle Ticket Race! Each student is asked to sell 2 books of raffle tickets and is rewarded with a free dress day! The class that sells the most raffle tickets will win a pizza party! The top three students who sell the most raffle tickets will be recognized at the fall festival and receive a special prize! The student who sells the most raffle tickets in each class will receive a prize! As the tickets are sold, return the completed stubs and money to your teacher in an envelope with the student and teacher names written on the outside. If you have not received your tickets or you need more to sell, they are available in the school office.
