GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE LFCC HURRICANE READINESS PLAN Person(s) responsible: JD Franck/Jim Noel 1. Bring in and store flags, ropes, 150 yd markers, directional signs, bag stands, sand boxes, etc. 2. Order gas and diesel fuel, fill spare cans for pumps, generators and chainsaws. 3. Sharpen chainsaws, and prepare pumps and generators for use. 4. Pump ponds down, including irrigation pond. 5. Line up extra pumps and hose from rental store (first come, first serve). 6. Fill backhoe and tractors with fuel. 7. Secure all loose items around maintenance barn, move equipment indoors. 8. Arrange list of contact numbers including employees and pro-shop staff. 9. Determine where debris will be staged for later removal. 10. Arrange for tree and debris removal (Carolina Tree Service). 11. Mow greens 12. Secure computers in maintenance area. 13. Cut off gas. 14. Close and lock all doors and windows. 15.
