RM120 for late payment fencers who register from 3 September to 7 October. This tournament is to build and maintain friendships among fencers of different backgrounds and origins while at the same time, create a platform for fencers to better themselves through exposure to other fencers. Entries: Team manager is responsible for filling out the team entry form available at page 7 and submit to Google Form here: https://goo.gl/forms/rxraiuie5tepvm3l2 by 2 September. 7. Competition Rules: The fencing competition shall be conducted in accordance with the current statues and rules of FIE. In case of disagreements in interpretation of the rules, the latest FIE rules in English version shall prevail. The Director de Technique shall deal with any unforeseen incidents not covered by the rules. 8. Equipment: FIE grade equipment is not compulsory, however, rusty weapons, torn fencing attire and short socks are not allowed. Fencers clothing must be made of sufficiently, robust material and should be in good condition. An inner plastron is compulsory. Weapon check will be done on the poste before each bout.
9. Prizes: Payment: Champion will be rewarded with RM200, a medal and a certificate 1 st runner up will be rewarded with RM100, a medal and a certificate. Joint 3 rd will be rewarded with RM50, a medal and a certificate RM80 for early birds who register from 1-15 August, 11.59 p.m. RM100 for regular fencers who register from 16 August to 2 September. RM120 for late payment fencers who register from 3 September to 7 October. Payment is to be made in full and banked into the account as below. Payment is inclusive of the event T-Shirt, goodie bags, and certificate of participation Late payments made will be allowed to participate in the tournament, but will not be entitled to event T-shirts and goodie bags. Competition Management : (10.1) Referee Participating delegations must be accompanied by number of referees according to the FIE Rules as follows: 1 4 fencers : 0 referee 5 9 fencers : 1 referee 10 or more fencers : 2 referees Note: i. Please ensure that the referees are to be properly attired. ii. Please bring a jacket / blazer and long pants. A penalty of RM100 will be imposed for failing to provide the required number of referees. The fee should be paid before the start of the competition on the day
(10.2) Director de Technique (DT) The DT will be responsible for the technical organisation of the competition. (10.3) Jury of appeal The jury of appeal shall be under the chairmanship of the Organising Chairman (or a representative appointed by him), and the DT. The decision of the jury of appeal shall be final. (10.4) Protests Appeals against decisions of the referee should be immediately made by the competitors to the referee, before any decisions are made regarding the subsequent hit. If the referee could not maintain his decision, the complaint will be brought to the attention of the D.T. Every appeal to the jury of hit appeal must be accompanied by a deposit of RM100.00 which will not be refundable. This sum will be confiscated in whole or in part if the appeal is rejected by jury of appeal. Appeals must be lodged and written in Bahasa Malaysia and / or English.
