PARTICIPATION Every Team (three competitors in each class F1A, F1B, F1P, one team manager, one assistant team manager and one timekeeper) from FAI affiliated World National Aero Club (National Airsport Control Organization), individual junior World Champions 2016: Mr. Mikhail LOMOV (RUSSIA) F1A Mr. Dmytro MERZLIAKOV (UKRAINE) F1B Mr. Daniel BOGOMAZ (POLAND) F1P are invited to participate in 2018 FAI Junior World Championships For Free Flight Model Aircraft 2018, if still eligible. Supporters, helpers and spectators are also invited. ANTI-DOPING If a competitor has to take, for a medical condition, any of the substances listed on the WADA Prohibited List then he must have a Therapeutic Use Exemption from the FAI. DATE AND PLACE August 05 to August 11 2018, Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. COMPETITION RULES Current rules of the FAI Sporting Code, section 4, volume CIAM General Rules and F1 volume, Edition 2018. AGE OF JUNIORS AND THEIR HELPERS: Sporting Code, paragraph B.3.4: A competitor is considered to be a junior up to and including the calendar year in which he attained the age of 18. SPORTING LICENSES Each competitor must possess FAI Sporting License valid for 2018. The licences must be on the FAI database. OFFICIAL LANGUAGES The official languages are Bulgarian and English. TIMEKEEPERS Organizers will provide local timekeepers. Each participating country may enter a оnе timekeeper and these timekeepers will be preferably used. The intention to enter a timekeeper should be announced in the Entry Form. All these timekeepers should speak basic technical English. The Organizers will provide accommodation, meals and Banquet together with the local timekeepers for the full official period of the contest from 05 August (dinner) till 11 August (breakfast). They should act in all contest days, attend briefings for timekeepers and have own binocular, tripod and stopwatch. Each team will have the right to have any of their group act as a third timekeeper on their flights both in rounds and fly offs. Any small team unable to take this option will have a third timekeeper provided by Organizers for their fly off flights. AWARDS FAI medals and diplomas and cups will be awarded to the winner, second and third place competitors in each class F1A, F1B and F1P and first, second and third place teams in each class F1A, F1B and F1P. HOW TO REACH PAZARDZHIK by car (freeway from Sofia 110 km, Plovdiv 40 km, Russe 370 km ); by train from Belgrade, Istanbul; Bucharest. Pazardzhik is on the railway from Europe, via Sofia, to Istanbul. by air to Sofia, then by car to Pazardzhik. Organized transportation from Sofia airport to Pazardzhik is possible.
