GENERAL INFORMATION USER MANUAL AND WARRANTY You have chosen a bike from the Monty brand, we thank you for your trust, we will do our best to maintain it. This user manual contains extensive information, important and necessary to optimize the use and maintenance of your bike Monty. It was written to maximize your safety and reliability of your bike through presentations and helpful tips. It is important to read this manual before you start for the first time with your E-bike. Thank you for keeping this manual if needed, if you have any doubts or if you are missing some information please contact your dealer Monty. Parents or guardians are responsible when minors people are using the bike. They should have a particular attention to the contents of this manual and the use of bicycles. Drawings and pictures used may not exactly match the models concerned, these are designed for a better understanding. We apologize if some parts of this manual may not match the exact specifications of your model. 1. Introduction Congratulations on your new bike Monty. Folding bikes belong to a new generation of bikes. Designed and developed from the experience and knowledge of the bicycle sector, particularly in the Trial, heart of our business, where geometry and position are very important. These bikes are built from the latest technological innovations; we give great importance to the design of our bikes to ensure a high level of quality. If additional information, thank you to contact your dealer Monty. 2. Description of the bike. The folding bike is the smart choice if you need a bike for both everyday use and for urban travel. Ideally designed for a user with a minimum age of 16 years and always in the otherwise under the watchful eye of parents and / or legal guardians. The frame, rigid and strong, is made of aluminum. It is a compact bike, lightweight and very stable. 3. ID number Each model has a serial number stamped on the steering tube. This number allows us to keep under control the history of guarantees and / or repair. Use the bike specifically for the use for which it is intended. 5
5. Maintenance - Inspection prior to first use The bike was assembled and tested at the factory, however, before the first use, we recommend you to check again the installation of each component, their setting and their proper functioning. The installation requires no lubrication, the bicycle is mounted for the first 100 kilometers without any maintenance, then you can simply follow the instructions provided in this manual. Lubrication For the proper functioning of the bike and its longevity, you need to periodically lubricate the following components: - Chain: Clean and lubricate with a product specifically developed for bike chain. - Headset: disassemble, clean and lubricate with a specific product - Sprockets: clean and lubricate slightly 6
tire pressure Warning: Do not exceed the pressure indicated on the tire sidewall For proper use of the bicycle, it is essential to use proper tire pressure. Example: - With a pressure of 4 kg. (High pressure) you will get a higher speed and acceleration, and this at the expense of comfort, driving will be "nervous" but the risk of falls in curves and slippery terrain is accentuated. - With a pressure of 2.5 kg. (Medium pressure often used for "walks") you will focus on driving comfort. Between 2.5 and 4 kg. and even up to 4.5 kg. This may be what you are looking for. Warning: Do not exceed the pressure indicated on the cover. The inner tube valve is of the "American" thus most bicycle pumps are suitable for this type of valve. After about 100 km. with his new bike, you should conduct the first review. If you do not plan to use your bike for a long time, or otherwise carry on a daily basis your bike with you, we recommend keeping the bike in a bag / bicycle bag suitable. Cleaning Any elementary precaution will help keep your bike as new, in perfect condition. For a good conservation of the bicycle, we recommend periodically cleaning the following components: - Elements painted: remove dust and dirt with a damp sponge and a suitable detergent. - Plastic parts should be washing with soap and water only. - Chrome parts; in humid climates and / or sea especially you will take care of chrome, we recommend that you periodically lubricate these components with oil. Important: it is generally not recommended to use solvent-type products such as turpentine, trichlorethylene, gasoline, Alkaline, etc. or any laundry also deteriorating paints and finishes. 7

It is recommended that the bicycle is regularly maintained; every 6 months doing a complete review with your dealer Monty. 6. Overview of components: Brakes Adjust optimally platelets / pads / brake pads Gently squeeze the handle to place the pads / disk / rim. Personal Setup: The main cylinder can adjust the distance between the handlebar handle. To perform this readjustment with a 2 mm Allen key. WARNING: The maintenance interval depends the use of the bicycle and the circumstances. Clean regularly the chain with cleaner suitable chain. Do not use solvents. If necessary, adjusting the length of the chain due an increase or decrease in the number of teeth. - Adjust the length of the chain, be sure to insert the pin connection from the same side as the cutting chain. - Check that the chain tension is correct and the chain is not damaged. 7. Driving instruction: - SECURITY PRIOR ADVICE: A good cyclist is a cautious cyclist. Mounting Tuning A).- Unfold the frame and secure it with the clamp (A) As a safety feature, you must turn the small clamp (B) until it locks. B).- Unfold the handlebars and closed using the lever. Delivery certificates As part of the delivery of a product, according to legal information, warranty claims, and agreements with the mandatory status of warranty conditions and additional guarantee, this certificate must be completed before the delivery and during the transfer of the bicycle. The distributor/seller must check all the details of the delivery certificate with the customer, complete the respective parts and sign the certificate.
