Each tryout will have two separate committees evaluating (Coach Committee & HOC). All tryouts are open to parents. No Parent-Coach will be allowed to evaluate until approved by HOC. Head Coach is responsible for selecting final roster. All team selections and reassignments will be posted online at www.littletonhockey.org under the tryout tab (no later than the next day).
CCYHL Game Count includes league games, non-conference and tournaments Midget/Bantam AA No restrictions Bantam A/B 50 Peewee 45 Squirt 40 U8 20 Friendlies Only USA Hockey sanctioned tournaments and teams Only certified rostered coaches can participate in on-ice practices and be on the bench for games/scrimmages Tournaments count as a max of 4 games toward the game count.
League will likely NOT tier Squirt & Peewee AA All other levels will be tiered following 4 nonconference games. Top half of level President s Division Bottom half of level Governor s Division Each division will have separate playoff Top Governor s Team can elect to play a play-in game vs. the bottom President s Team before playoffs. No change to tournaments
WHAT IS TIERED? The HOC will determine what levels within Bantam, Peewee and Squirt will be tiered at tryouts. Announcements will be made on the LHA Website.
Teams have 2 to 3 ice sessions per week over the 5 month playing season with blue pucks. All teams will play cross ice or half ice games with blue pucks. U8 Advanced will be introduced to full-ice staring in February No full-ice games until April Maximum of 20 cross-ice/half-ice games No Mite team may travel out of state during the season.
Skills & Drills Period consists of skill development drills, small area games and crossice games Game Total: 40 (league, non-league & tournament games) Excludes playoffs, qualifying tournaments Travel: Squirt AA/A 1 Out-of-state tournament Travel: No out-of-state travel for Squirt B* * Travel permitted if team wins SilverSticks

If a coach suspects a player has sustained a concussion, the coach is required to remove that player from play. No player can return to play without a physician s release.
