CG s at South Lodge. In 30 yds TR on road down hill and up thro Stoke Rochford village. At speed derestriction sign AH for 1 mile to T junction TR and immd TL over ST. AH, hedge on L. In 50 yds TL thro gap in hedge. In 30 yds thro gap in hedge, TR on tarmac track, hedge on R. AH 150yds TL (green gates on R). AH hedge on R for 4 fields. X ST into 5th field, AH hedge on R. Thro gap in bushes into next field. DOGS ON LEADS PLEASE FOR 2 FIELDS. AH, hedge on R, later with electric fence on L. At end of field X ST (10yds to L of corner). At seat on R, AH keeping large house with green front door on your R. AH solid fence on R AT THE REQUEST OF BUCKMINSTER ESTATES DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS FROM HERE TO SPROXTON. Thro gate ½ R to trees and fence then follow fence & small wood on R. Over plank FB. TR, wood on R thro metal handgate over Plank FB. AH, hedge & wood on R. X track. AH hedge & wood on R. Thro gap in hedge over concrete FB. TL and immd TR onto track, hedge & wood on R. Where track turns R, AH (RH fork) across field CB 330 (aim for electricity poles on horizon). AH up bank AH follow line of electricity poles. AH, cottage on left, thro gate at road. (Sproxton village to left) TR on road for 60 yds. TL over stile. AH, Ash tree and wire fence on L. Thro metal gate to R of trough. AH hedge on left. Ignore FP on left. Thro metal handgate, AH hedge on L. At end of churchyard, over ST under chestnut tree and TL on road passing Church Lane. In 50 yds TR through gap in hedge and thro metal handgate. ½R, across field following fence for 50 yds and passing to left of tree on hilltop. X ST. ½ R CB330 across field. X stile, AH towards 4th telegraph pole. X double ST in LH hedge near telegraph pole. AH across field to far hedge. X ST, FB, ST. AH across field towards house at LH edge of village. X ST AH house on left. Thro metal handgate, TR onto drive. TR on road into Saltby. TL into Main St. In 50 yds TL on FP at side of No 11. (FP sign not visible from this direction). AH on grass. At end of wood thro gap to R of gate. AH hedge on right. Where track turns L, TR on byway, hedge both sides (Take care, very rutted & overgrown). In 600 yds TL thro concealed gap in hedge. (Opens 10.30 Closes 14.00) TR out of village hall and retrace steps at side of school to minor road. TR on road for 50 yds. TL at T Junction towards church. TR into Church Lane. TL on FP at side of church, AH sports field on L. Bear ½ R to follow track for 50 yds. TL thro gap in hedge and take FP thro field, CB360, towards 2 large trees. Between trees ½ R across field.cb50. X ST and ½ L to RH corner of wood. X ST, AH thro wood. Towards end of wood bear R to yellow top SP. X sleeper FB. AH across field CB40 toward small wood. Cross earth bridge near FP post. TR on track. In 30 yds TL on FP, narrow wood on L. X stile at side of gate. AH hedge on R. ½ L at 2 double gates leaving hedge. Thro wide gap, trees on L. AH on track towards houses. Thro gateway/st & AH on track past houses to road. Bear R onto road in Harston. TR onto Main Street. AH on road for 0.6 miles to bus shelter on R. TL into Sewstern Lane. Pass houses on L and bear R onto cycle route. AH for 0.5 mls following line of old railway, trees on both sides. At farm on R, TL and immd R on narrow FP. AH trees on R, AH trees on both sides. Under road bridge, thro metal gate (maybe open) & TR (hairpin) to pass under same bridge on higher path to road. TR on road (TAKE CARE busy, fast road) AH to Denton. Ignore junctions to R & bear left, village hall on R. TL into Casthorpe Road. At end of high hedge on R, TR thro gateway. AH trees & stream on R. thro open gate, AH, trees & stream on R. X ST, X track, X ST. AH trees on R. Just before white gate TR. X ST & FB. TL, AH stream on L, X FB. AH stream on L. X FB, AH for 400 yds (reservoir on L) TR down steps, X FB, AH thro trees. CHECK POINT 3 HARLAXTON VILLAGE HALL. 20.5 miles 09.30 Closes 16.00) (Opens TL out of Village Hall, AH on Church Street, TR into Rectory Lane. TL into West End & immd TL thro gate into field. AH, (rusty sheds 30yds to L.) AH, CB185 towards RH field corner. X stile 30yds left of field corner. AH towards centre group of trees on horizon, X stile. AH up hill towards centre group of trees. X stile AH wire fence on R, X stile, AH ( large trees and farm on R). X drive (to Wealdmore Lodge Farm). Thro double gate, AH thro field, hedge on R. Up steep steel steps to road. TAKE CARE ROAD AT TOP OF STEPS. TR on road. Pass Junction on L. AH for 600 yds. Pass junction to Denton & immd TL on track. AH wire fence both sides. Immd before open gate to cottage TL on FP thro wood, AH, thro handgate, pond on left, TR. X sleeper FB, thro metal gate, AH, Hungerton Hall & wire fence on L. X ST, ½ R hedge & wire fence on R, thro handgate in RH corner of field. TR on road. 12 MILE ROUTE JOINS. In 30yds TL (SP Wyville) AH for 400 yds. CHECKPOINT 4. WYVILLE VILLAGE HALL 23.5 MILES (Opens 10.00 Closes 17.00) Pass church on R, Bear R after cottage, SP Beech Farm, thro gateway (FOOTPATH ONLY). AH downhill. At pond on R, ignore L turn up hill but bear L with wood on L. At end of wood thro gate. TL at fork, AH, pond on R. Fork R on FP where track bears L.

Down hill to handgate at RH corner of wood. Thro gate, AH wood on L. X FB. Thro handgate & TL. AH on field edge, wire fence on L. Thro gap in hedge AH, follow field edge, through wooden & metal handgates, X stile. TL thro field, wire fence on L. Thro gap in tree hedge. AH wire fence on L. Pass wooden handgate then metal gate on L. Thro gap & X stile in tree hedge on steep bank (CAUTION barbed wire) AH wire fence on left. AH pond on L, farm on L. Thro handgate (20yds to left of double steel gates with blue caps on gate posts). TR onto track. X concrete road. AH wood on L, fence on R. At end of wood X CG/gate. ½ R on track across field, X (climb) gate to right of CG. AH hedge on L, thro gate on track to road. TL on road, cottages on L, AH, ponds on L & R. Pass road on R. At top of hill near trees AH on road for 400 yds. TR onto track FP thro steel barrier gate/ ST. AH, hedge on L. At FP/BW junction TL on BW. AH, wood on R. AH 600 yds. At FP/BW junction ½ L. X ST/CG. AH on track across field, X ST/CG to road. TR onto road, houses on R.
