It is open to holders of all licenses eligible for regional competition in the current GCR. In addition, holders of acceptable competition licenses from all SCCA-approved organizations may be accepted. RACE LENGTH: Groups with 14 or more cars with qualifying times will race 16 laps or 30 minutes, whichever comes first. Groups of less than 14 such cars will receive race laps equal to that number of cars (e.g. a group with 12 cars with qualifying times will receive a 12 lap race). The Chief Steward reserves the right to end a session early if the situation warrants. QUALIFYING: Each group will receive two 15 minute qualifying sessions. The clock will run during black flag all or red flag situations. A minimum of 20 minutes of qualifying between the two sessions is guaranteed. The grid order for the first qualifying session will be posted at Registration. The second qualifying session will be gridded according to the fastest times from the first qualifying session. The fastest lap time from both sessions will set the grid order for the Sunday race. VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY: The following region-specific classes are also eligible for this event: IT7 (a sub-class of ITA and runs under ITA rules), SRX7, ITE, SSM, SPO, SPU, FST, Club Ford, GTPinto, and GTA. Their rules should be considered a part of these supplemental regulations and are available online at wdcrscca.org or through the Region Office. The spec tire for all SM cars is the Toyo Proxes RA1 205-50-15. ENTRIES: Online registration is available at wdcr-scca.org. Online entries paid with credit card will be accepted immediately. The Late Date is the Friday the week prior (7 days) to the event. Checks (payable to WDCR, SCCA) or money orders MUST be received by the Region Office no later than the Late Date (postmark not withstanding) to avoid additional fees. Any entries and/or payments received after the Late Date (postmark not withstanding) will be assessed a $50 fee. Payments will be processed upon receipt. This event may be photographed, videotaped, and/or recorded for broadcast, commercial use or promotion without further notice. Your participation in this event under these Supplemental Regulations means that you are granting permission for such media to be published without compensation of any kind. MULTI-ENTRY REBATE: WDCR member drivers with more than one entry (in more than one class) at this event will be eligible for a $50 rebate after the results of the race are finalized. Disqualified entries are not eligible for any rebates. OVERSUBSCRIPTIONS: When any race group has more than 50 entries subsequent entries will be placed on a wait list. Every effort will be made to notify those who are on the wait list of their status. PREFERRED NUMBERS: Unless there is a conflict with possible group changes, preferred numbers will be honored until after the Late Date. TECH STICKERS: Cars must display the event Tech sticker as follows: closed wheeled cars, in the driver s left headlight area; open wheeled cars, the driver s left roll bar upright.

Tech stickers are available at the tech building and may be available at Registration on Friday evenings only. WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS: Notifications of withdrawal received after 7:00 PM the Friday of the event will be assessed a fee of $50 for drivers who have not been processed in registration at the track. Withdrawals should be done through the WDCR Online Registration System. Otherwise contact the region office as directed elsewhere in this document. No refunds can be made if the driver has participated in any on-track sessions. SIGNAL LIGHT: A modified traffic light on the bridge approaching Station 10 will display flag signals as follows: a standing yellow flag (single yellow light); a waving yellow flag (two blinking yellow lights); double yellow flags (two steady yellow lights); a debris flag (two yellow lights with a red light). A red light will never be used alone to stop the session. When a yellow flag condition is indicated, the light represents the beginning of the no passing zone. NOVICE REQUIREMENTS: Novice permit holders shall be required to work at least two sessions in any approved specialty in order to fulfill their regional requirements. Forms will be available at Registration and are to be signed by the specialty chief or station captain. Completed forms plus a copy of the race results must be presented to the Stewards when picking up the Novice Permit. Novice Permits will NOT be mailed. All Novice permit holders must display three parallel stripes on both sides and the rear of their race car following the GCR specifications for car numbers. RACE SUPPORT VEHICLES (RSVs): All motorized vehicles (ATVs, golf carts, scooters, etc) are permitted for race related activities only and may not leave the paddock unless going to the Registration bldg, Front Gate or Gasoline Alley (with GA pass). Each RSV must display a pass available in Registration for $5. RSV drivers must hold a valid state driver s license. Reckless operation or disregard for the rules could result in the competitor s expulsion from the event. The speed limit in the Paddock is walking speed at all times and will be strictly enforced by Race Officials. PADDOCK SPACES: Due to limited paddock space, all competitors are expected to minimize their paddock space usage. Sharing spaces is highly encouraged. Reserved corral areas are coordinated through driver reps (see Contact List). Reserve corral space IN ADVANCE of the event. A corral map is available at wdcr-scca.org and from driver rep. The SCCA assumes control of the Paddock (for the purpose of directing paddock parking only) on Thursday of the race weekend. Paddock spaces set up prior to this time may be relocated, rearranged, or removed to conform with the following regulations: The track owner requires that all race cars be paddocked in the paddock area. Asphalt damage is prohibited (i.e., tent stakes, jack stands, etc.). The fenced-off area below the Control Tower is reserved for worker camping. Paddock roads may not be used for parking, pregridding or work space. Concrete pads are provided for suspension alignment and other work requiring a level, hard surface. Camping or paddock setup on these pads is prohibited. Remember, cooperation with Driver Reps and with other competitors is expected. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event. NO RACE CARS ALLOWED OVER THE BRIDGE: Race cars may not be driven over the bridge to the outside of the track. Street legal race cars licensed by their state of registry are exempt only when entering or leaving the facility TIRE SCRUBBING: Tire scrubbing is permitted only during a double yellow with a pace or safety car. IMPOUND: The first three finishing positions in each class must go to Impound. Drivers are responsible for determining their finishing positions. Cars brought in by Emergency Services may be taken to impound. No car may leave Impound until released by a Steward or Tech Inspector. TIMING & SCORING (T&S): Cars will be timed using the AMB Transponder system. Transponder signal may be tested at Tech. Transponders may be purchased or rented from OG Racing (www.ogracing.com) at Summit Point Motorsports Park, 304-728- 9932, or their Sterling VA location, 800-934-9112. Cars whose numbers do not meet the approval of Timing and Scoring may not receive times. SOUND CONTROL: Microphone is located on the left hand side of the main straight between Start/Finish and Turn 1, and readings will be posted at OG Racing. Penalties will be enforced for cars over 103 db. Whenever possible a Sound signboard plus the car number will be displayed at Start/Finish upon the first report of reading of over 103 db. This display, or lack thereof, is informational only and is not protestable. CAR SPECIFIC BLACK FLAG: The Black Flag station is at Station 4. Black flags will be displayed at the Black Flag Station and/or Start/Finish. QUIET TIME: No race car engines may be started between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Noise in the Paddock and camping areas shall be kept to a minimum after 11:00 PM. UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES ON THE TRACK: NO unauthorized motorized vehicles are allowed on the race course after the close of events for the day. RADIO FREQUENCIES: Frequencies for OFFICIAL use only; 159.915, 151.700, 154.570, and 154.600. MINORS: A completed Minor Waiver (MS-2A) shall be presented in Registration for each minor (child under the age of 18) attending the event. The Minor Waiver can be signed only by the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and witnessed by a licensed Registrar or Steward OR notarized. Minor waivers are available in Registration. A.pdf version is available at scca.org and must be printed in color. Minors aged 16 and 17 who wish access to Hot areas, must contact the SCCA National Office well in advance of the event. Minors without the proper Minor Waiver will be admitted as a spectator and spectator fees may apply. Children under the age of 16 years old must be under the supervision of an adult while in the Paddock. PETS: Pets are prohibited in the Grid and Pit areas as well as the Registration building. Dogs must be leashed and in the control of an adult in all other areas of the facility.

PLEASE remember to drive carefully on the roads in the Summit Point area. TICKETS / CREDENTIALS / OVERCREW PASSES: Drivers are entitled to three crew passes free. Overcrew passes may be purchased for $25 each at the event. Access to Hot areas will be limited to SCCA members over the age of 18. See the section labeled Minors for information on minors. Credentials MUST BE VISIBLE while in a Hot area. Full and Weekend memberships will be available in Registration. Contact Summit Point Motorsports Park at 304-725-8444 for information on obtaining Sunday gate passes at an SCCA member discount. Valid credentials (gate pass or wrist band) must be shown to re-enter the track facility during the event. LAST LAP: Whenever possible, the last lap of a race will be indicated by showing the entire field a sign with the numeral 1 at Start/Finish. This display, or lack thereof, is informational only and is not protestable. OPEN TRAILERS: Any open trailer not contained within the paddock space must be parked outside Turn 10. UNCOLLECTED PAYMENTS: If a driver s or entrant s initial check or credit card is not honored for any reason, the Region may assess the entrant a service charge. Failure to clear such a matter to the satisfaction of the Region within 60 days may result in a suspension of memberships and licenses of both the competitor and entrant. SCALES: The scales at Tech will be available to competitors during all qualifying sessions plus; ½ hour prior to the start of racing on Sunday during Sunday lunch (once all impound cars are cleared) until 15 minutes after the start of the first race after lunch. QUALIFYING GRIDS AND RACE RESULTS: Copies will be available in the results cabinet at OG Racing, please take only one. Additional copies may be obtained from T & S. TROPHIES: Trophy location will be posted at the results cabinet at OG Racing. Trophies will be available at this event only and will be based on the number of entries as of the Late Date. No trophies will be mailed. PADDOCK PARKING PASSES: Only one paddock parking pass will be issued for each competing car. Paddock space is provided for the race car plus one service/private vehicle. All non-race vehicles without a paddock pass affixed to the windshield must park outside paddock. Adherence to this policy will be monitored and enforced by race officials. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in vehicles being towed. Water is also available but not to be used for washing vehicles. Camping is free at the track on Friday and Saturday nights. Electricity is available in portions of the paddock and is provided by Summit Point Motorsports Park. To acquire electrical service, first locate and secure your paddock space and note the number of the service box. Fee and deposit are paid at the Front Gate where a key for the service box is issued. Return the key to the Front Gate immediately so as not to forget. PARKING AT THE TOWER: The road to T&S and the tower will be closed to all motorized vehicles. INDIVIDUAL TIMING or DATA SYSTEMS: Trackside equipment for individual timing or data collection systems may only be placed at the pit out end of pit road. ACCESS TO TRACK PROPERTY BEFORE OR AFTER HOURS (REFUNDABLE TICKETS): Any non-registered participant (driver, crew, guest, official, or worker) who wishes to enter the track facility during non-registration hours must purchase a REFUNDABLE ticket at the gate. The refund is available at Registration during posted Registration hours ONLY after the prescribed credentials have been obtained. Competitors who submitted their entry online may avoid purchasing a refundable ticket by presenting a photo ID and a printed copy of their registration at the front gate. This applies to crew members also but only if they present a photo ID and a printed copy of the registration with their name listed as crew. Volunteer workers who have pre-registered on-line need only present a photo ID. Once Registration closes on Sunday, a regular ticket must be purchased at the gate if you are not pre-registered. No refunds will be made for this or any other ticket. No exceptions will be made. Please tell crew members and guests to be at Registration before closing time. ENTRY TO THE GRID AREA: Cars must enter the Grid area from the rear (Pit-In area) ONLY. PIT & GRID SAFETY: Enclosed shoes are required. Smoking is not permitted. PIT SIGNALS: Visible Hot credentials are required in the Pit. Please Use Care While Crossing the Pit Lane! Only Race Officials will be permitted at the pit wall until after a green flag race start. VOLUNTARY WORKER FUND CONTRIBUTIONS: Drivers may make a voluntary non-deductible contribution to a fund benefitting the workers who staff the WDCR Club Racing events at Summit Point. The option is available in the registration application process. To those who choose to contribute, thanks in advance.
