TRAILED SPRAYERS RPS SERIES
The outstanding quality of the new series of trailed sprayers fro Lochann Plantatec is the result of over fifty years of practical experience, the application of state-of-the-art technologies, the use of high-quality aterials and a strict quality control during the anufacturing process. Both the robust construction, which is in line with the strictest quality standards, and the clever odular design provide the user with a wide range of different sprayers adapted to all areas of fruit production and viticulture. The copact construction and the consequent liited overall diensions allow the sprayers to be used in confined spaces. The design of the polyethylene tank of the new RPS series is outstanding in every respect. Our any years of experience have ade it possible to design and anufacture a tank which is unique down to the last detail. In our philosophy filling and eptying the tank should be both user-friendly and environentally sound. Therefore the large inlets can be reached with ease, there is sufficient extra volue, eptying the tank is optial, even on slopes there is inial residue and a ball valve for eptying the tank is provided on the side of the tank. State-of-the-art welder robots anufactured the torsion resistant frae fro section steel, with integrated tube guards. The frae is fully hot dip galvanized. The rugged support wheel allows for trouble-free hitching and unhitching, even with a full tank. The height and width of the axle are adjustable. The width is continuously adjustable. In addition the position of the axle can be adjusted in order to optiize tracking and to decrease or increase the vertical load on the coupling device. RPS 8/80 U 875 l RPS 8/80 UQ 875 l CONTROLS The sprayer can be fitted with electric controls which open and close the nozzles of fast switching electroagnetic valves. These brass valves eet the highest quality standards and function perfectly up to an operating pressure of 50 bar. They are long-lived and aintenance-free due to their siple construction. Pressure control is effected by eans of a tie-tested brass pressure regulator which is driven by a linear activator. The perfect insulation of all electrical coponents prevents the otherwise usual daages or contact probles caused by corrosion when working under extree conditions.this control echanis can be operated by eans of a coputer operated etering control, which provides an exact digital display of the tank contents.
AGITATOR AND TANK TANK LOAD INDICATOR DIAPHRAGM PUMP HYDRAULIC DRIVE AXLE The low pressure agitator consists of a stainless steel tube ounted lengthwise in the tank. Its four agitator nozzles provide a perfectly ixed spray ixture, even with low pressure and high cheical content. The low pressure agitator, the sooth inner surface and the well-designed shape of the tank prevent cheical residue in the tank. These properties facilitate the cleaning process and prevent unnecessary residual spray ixture. The exact reading of the tank contents is ade possible by the tank load indicator which is clearly visible both fro the driver s seat and fro the side when filling the tank. RPS 10/90 QB 1.100 l The three-diaphrag pup with a capacity of 135 l/in (50 bar) provides a balanced and constant water flow even at low pressure. All coponents carrying spray liquid consist of high-quality brass or stainless steel and are extreely resistant to acids. The icro pressure-filter can be equipped with a continuous cleaning syste, so that aintenance intervals can be longer even with very sall esh sizes. Such a filter syste guarantees the trouble-free working of the injector nozzles. The hydraulic variable drive is integrated in the wheels and is independent of the PTO shaft. It is operated by the tractor hydraulics, thus aking it possible to work safely on steep terrain. The hydraulic drive axle can be fitted with a echanical or a hydraulic brake. RPS 10/90 UQH 1.100 l
FAN COVERS The new fans can be fitted with covers on one or both sides, aking it possible to switch off the airflow independently. In this way drifting is substantially reduced and non-target organiss are protected. The covers can be operated anually and autoatically, in cobination with the nozzles. The cleverly designed fast folding echanis folds the covers away behind the fan. In this way the total length of the sprayer reains the sae. ARTICULATED DRAWBAR The dual-function articulated drawbar has been approved for road traffic (registration is only copulsory in Italy). The articulated drawbar which guarantees both perfect tracking and the best drive-shaft angle, can be converted to a rigid bar in next to no tie. The locking echanis locks the drawbar into the tractor s coupling echanis without backlash and ensures convenient hitching and unhitching. The articulated drawbar for the lower links guarantees perfect tracking and ensures the best drive-shaft angle. In addition it has the capacity to copensate for inclines and hitching and unhitching is fast and easy. MIXING BASKET AND BOTTLE WASHER The ixing basket (volue 30 l) with its rotating injector nozzle ensures the efficient and safe ixing of powdered plant protection products. HAND AND CIRCUIT CLEANING TANKS The sprayer has a large hand cleaning tank of 17 l, which is very iportant, because the skin can now be cleaned quickly after contact with plant protection agents. In addition the sprayer has a circuit cleaning tank, which enables optiu circuit cleaning and nozzle cleaning. Moreover the outside of the sprayer can now be cleaned in the field, as prescribed by law. NOZZLES The twin and triple headed swivel nozzles are ade of brass and are fitted with Vaiton anti-drip diaphrags. They have been installed outside the airflow and can be individually positioned. Protocol Blowertest BLOWER All blower types have been designed using our state-of-the-art in-house test bench. The results of our tests show that both the speed and the volue of the air strea which hits the plant is equal everywhere: top and botto, left and right. This unifor distribution of air has iproved the application of liquids to the plants and substantially reduced drifting. This new rectangular distribution of air has considerably increased the efficiency of the blower: the force absorption has been halved, noise has been reduced, fuel consuption has been substantially reduced and the CO2 balance and the energy efficiency have been uch iproved. An orchard with row spacings of 3.2 eters and a tree height of 4.00 eters can now be treated effectively at a speed of 7.2 k/h and a force absorption of the blower syste of less than 10 hp. The two speed gearbox with idling ode, together with the eight sickle-shaped fan blades enable the highest and the lowest air volues in the ideal speed range of the tractor. The blower frae has been hot dip galvanized and is therefore ideally protected against corrosion. HYDRAULICALLY ROTATING BLOWER The hydraulic rotating echanis, fitted with ball-bearings, is tightly sealed and low aintenance. It is integrated in the blower and therefore does not increase the length of the sprayer.
