North of the River Recreation & Park District would like to thank you in advance for your participation in our upcoming Adult Coed Human Foosball Tournament on Saturday, April 1, 2017. The purpose of this document is to guide you through the registration process. REGISTRATION FORMS & WAIVERS Please list all the members of your team including their contact information and t-shirt sizes. Each team must have two female participants. All team members must also sign a release of liability form. Once this has been completed, one may turn in all this paperwork and the registration fee of $75 to any NOR facility or register online at www.norfun.org. All of the paperwork and payments must be submitted at the same time. Registration and payments will not be accepted the day of the tournament. Deadline for registration forms, waivers and fees is Friday, March 17, 2017.

RULES 1. All teams must have completed registration packet including roster and waiver forms to be eligible to play. 2. Each team MUST field 6 players while the ball is in play (unless injury occurs). Each team must have at least two (2) female players on the field. Players must be 18 years of age or older. 3. All players must wear tennis shoes. 4. You are allowed to use your feet, head and chest. a. Both hands must be fixed to the rod in the designated hand area. b. Any hands that leave the rod at any time results in a penalty kick. 5. Players must move together from side to side, no player is allowed to move forward or backwards. 6. Games are 15 minutes long with a running clock. 7. All games will start every 20 minutes; 15 games with 5 minutes between each game. Make sure your team is ready. 8. Each team is allowed 1 timeout (20 seconds long). Games will remain at 15 minutes regardless if timeouts are used or not. 9. In the event of a tie, ball is placed in front of the 3 person rows and first team to score wins. 10. The ball must remain below the foosball poles for all scores. 11. The game will begin by rolling the ball into play from the mid-court starting area in front of the three person rows. 12. Play continues until a penalty occurs, the ball is out of reach or out of bounds, or a goal is missed or is scored. Follow restart procedures to continue playing. 13. Restart Procedures a.when a goal is scored, the game is restarted by rolling the ball from mid-court. b. When the ball rolls out of bounds, the ball will be restarted from mid-court. c. If the ball cannot be reached in the playing area, the ball will be restarted from mid-court. 14. Subbing players can only happen when a team scores, in the event of an injury or during a timeout (NO stalling, quickly get in & out) 15. In the event of an injury, an official timeout will be used at official s discretion to assess the situation. Games will remain at 15 minutes regardless of how much is used during official timeout. 16. In the event of a ball going out of bounds, the ball will be reintroduced at the center of the court. 17. When a penalty occurs, the ball will be restarted from the mid court and will be rolled to the non offending team s 3 person rod. 18. You cannot switch positions with other players during play. 19. NO STALLING is allowed. (For example, if there is 2 minutes left in the game, the goalie or any other player can t keep the ball between his/her legs for any period of time) 20. NO SPINNING over the rods is allowed. Any player who attempts to spin over the rods, will immediately disqualify their team. 21. The following protective gear is allowed: athletic cup, shin guards, gloves and helmet.
