Rules & Regulations: Responsibility: Wayne Equestrian Center, Wayne-Dupage Hunt, Wayne Historical Preservation Society, or Dunham Woods Riding Club will not be held responsible for any accident to horses, property, or any person on the grounds, nor will they be responsible for any property lost or destroyed. Each exhibitor shall indemnify and hold harmless the management, executive committee, Wayne Equestrian Center, Wayne Historical Preservation Society, Dunham Woods Riding Club and Wayne-DuPage Hunt harmless from all claims and demands of any kind or nature arising from such exhibitor, his employees, animals, or property exhibiting on or in the horse show grounds. The management reserves the right to refuse, accept conditionally, limit entries, and cancel any entries, disqualify exhibitors, prohibit exhibition of entries, and cancel awards of prizes without claims for damages. Classes may be cancelled at the discretion of show management, or, if entries are not sufficient, management may combine into one competition. Classes may be combined if there are 3 or less entries. Refunds and cancellations: Exhibitors cancelling entries in writing prior to the first day of show, shall be entitled to a refund. After show begins, no refunds will be given without a Vet Certificate, or, in case of rider, a Medical Certificate no stall refunds. There is a $15 office charge for classes scratched. Schooling: Schooling permitted, weather Permitting. Warm-up fences will be provided in schooling areas. Parking: All cars will be parked east of the pole barn. Vans and trailers may be in the stabling area for unloading horses and equipment only. Please, no parking in the fire lane designated areas. Tailgate Parking: A limited number of ringside parking spaces will be available on Sunday for $40.00. One car per space. Tailgate Picnic Award: Awarded on uniqueness, presentation, and gustatory merit appropriate to a day in country. Judging on Sunday 11:00 am to 11:30 am. Muenzenmay Memorial Trophy Class Entry Fee: Showing fee is $150 and is due by noon on Sunday. Post entry fee after noon on Sunday is $25. This class is open to all participants. The course will be run on the outside course and ring I. It will consist of 8-12 jumps with speed calculated at 382 yards per minute. In the event of a tie for first place, there will be a jump off. All other placings will remain tied with prize divided equally. FORMAL ATTIRE REQUIRED. Prize Money: Awarded 1st 6th Places Calcutta: Show keeps 20%, remaining 80% distributed as follows: 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 2nd to last 20%.
CLASS 71 LEAD LINE EXHIBITION Class Entry Fee: $25 The William Dean Bangs Memorial Trophy Open to juniors who have not reached their 7 th birthday, and who are not entered in another class in this show. To be shown in hand at a walk. To be judged on style, personality, with emphasis on confidence. CLASS 72 FAMILY CLASS EXHIBITION Class Entry Fee: $35/Family The Joy Morton Memorial Trophy Open to two or more members of a family, to be shown abreast at a walk, trot, and canter in both ways of the ring. To be judged on performance as a group and horsemanship. CLASS 73 COSTUME CLASS EXHIBITION Class Entry Fee: $25/Participant Open to all ages. To be shown both ways of the ring. To be judge on costume design and performance. MAXIMUM 4 horses per group. **HARD HATS REQUIRED** CLASS 78 HUNT TEAMS Class Entry Fee: $45 per team The St. James Farm Perpetual Trophy Teams of three hunters (to include at least one adult rider) to be shown tandem in hunting attire over outside course with fences approximately 2 6. Combined ownership permitted. To be judged on performance as a team. Also judged on soundness 85%, resemblance 15%. Appointments not to count. CLASS 80 SILVER FOX CHALLENGE Class Entry Fee: $25 Flat class for those riders who are 55 and older. May require opening and shutting a gate, or mounting/dismounting. CLASS 81 OPEN CLASS Class Entry Fee: $25 Open to all riding disciplines (i.e. Western, English, side saddle, etc.).
