7 Have the necessary approvals/endorsements been obtained? Is the proposed solution reasonable with respect to timing/volumes and signal operation? Is it likely that manual modifications to the signals will be required (signal phasing/timing changes)? Are signal loops likely to be damaged? Are there any conflicts between banned turning movements and signalised right/left turn lanterns? Does the TMP contain any proposed detours that will impact upon the wider network? What are the impacts of the aftercare treatment on the operation of the traffic signals?
8 Timeframes for approval: State Controlled roads 15 business days prior to works commencing. Local Government roads through traffic signals 15 days prior to the work commencing. Thank You Any Questions?
31 Will the activity have an impact upon pedestrian movements? Conversely, will pedestrian movements impact upon traffic movements? For example: The entire traffic stream has been reduced to one lane on approach to the traffic signals, and; there is a fully protected pedestrian crossing which under the temporary traffic control arrangement will result in the entire stream being delayed for 12 seconds. If there are impacts to the signalised pedestrian crossings, have safe pedestrian detours been provided?
