Team/game/poster Photographers Shannon Lilga motioned to approved to pay Brian Lentz $550.00 and second Tim Korger Kline (photographer) Team posters were much smaller than the posters in the past. Lance liked the material of a banner from the previous person so we could hang it on the fence. Average cost of posters is about $1000.00 Trina from Inver Hills printed the posters for the banquet Maria 3b. Booster openings for next year Revisiting Rosemount Irish Boys Lacrosse Booster Club Bylaws History - the Vice President role really morphed into the Advertising Role Maria - was asked to take the position and is looking to make a change because it is too much during the busiest time of the year for her work. Jeff was concerned that this might not by the most recent by laws - we will look for a more recent bylaws Tracy brought up the concern of how we elect positions - and what is the process Very important to follow the bylaws in order to keep our 503C Lance found a copy of a draft from 2010 - Tracy shared the election process where at the banquet people would vote to fill the open positions Discussion around how we transition new people into their positions - shadowing Current plan is for Lance and Jeff to locate bylaws - if not found by December We will update the bylaws to make it more aligned with current policies and booster members with separate meetings. President: Maria Johnson Secretary: Tracy Monro-Moran and Julie Lentz Treasurer: Jeff Fischbach Varsity : Lance Kuehn 10. Wall Update Faces more of the school than the road. It is not in the hill, but on flat ground. We pulled a permit from the city, and the city has no precedent and they asked us to go to engineer. The wall can withstand a 150 mile per hour wind. The permit cost 196.20 and tripled the rebar. The cost went up 1700.00 and today they received a donation of $1000.00 from RAAA. 33 committed plaques, 10 from RAAA, 3 alumni, Jefferson, neighbors, my dad, Boehmer, etc. Lance has given some thought to contacting the newspaper to let them know about the wall and thanking them for their support. Lance shared some of the ideas of the colors on the wall and what it could possibly look like as far as lettering. 11. Equipment and Helmet Update Minimum order for arm pads is 10 - currently at 8. If we do not get 10 we will have to cancel the order. Manning will pay for the refurbishing of the helmets at $26.00 per helmet We will have to replace the decals on the helmets. I am advising those players that have their own helmets to use the team helmets. Recertification is meant to make sure that all of the inside pieces are up to date. 12. Spring Team Building/Guest Speakers April 20, 2018 - Mr. Manning gave permission to participate in a team building activity. It is staff development day at Rosemount High School 13.
