Advanced Life Support from the same supplier is provided as a callout service should this be required. The service provider is Trauma Rescue based in Rustenburg www.traumarescue.co.za.it should be noted that this service is for stabilisation and emergency only and every competitor is responsible for providing their own Medical Insurance / Medical Aid for any incident requiring medical attention or follow up hospitalisation no competitor will be permitted to participate in this event without providing proof of this requirement. CLEANING & MAINTENANCE STAFF Provided by SkyDive Rustenburg throughout the training and competition dates.

Bulletin 2 Page 3 of 12 JUDGING STAFF The Chief Judge is Claire King with judging staff and details for the judges requirements as per Bulletin 1 SSA CONTROLLER, JURY & VIDEO REVIEW PANEL The SSA Controller for this event shall be Mohan Chudalayandy The Jury to be appointed by the Chief Judge and Event organiser prior to the start of the competition and announced at the Safety Briefing. The Video Review Panel will be in accordance with the requirements of the 2017 bid document. The protest fee for this competition shall be R500 per occurrence AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS AND GROUND CREW 2 (two) X328 Atlas Angel Turbine Aircraft with suitable pilots shall be provided in accordance with the bid document and Bulletin 1 All other aircraft staff, ground crew etc will be as provided for in the bid document and Bulletin 1 REGISTRATION FEE & COSTS REGISTRATION FEES Registration fee per competitor or team member regardless of number of events entered will be R1200 / per competitor or team member this will include an event T Shirt, goodie bag, RSC daily membership and the closing ceremony function and meal. Current PASA and SSA membership is required to participate in the 2017 National Championships failure to comply shall result in disqualification from the event. PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MEDIA LIAISON Advance publicity Skydive Rustenburg has been proactive in distributing the press releases to numerous print, radio and television media Advertising in media releases Media releases have been distributed as required the latest media release is attached to this Bulletin as Appendix 3 Media conferences A press conference / event has been scheduled for the week prior to the event date details to be confirmed Tourism involvement The Northwest Government as well as the Bojanala Platinum Municipality have included the Nationals Event in their internal event planning as well as providing event coverage and promotional materials in both the Mafikeng and Rustenburg Tourist offices Local media 1 local newspaper and 1 local radio station have committed to coverage in print and radio in the week prior to and during the week of the Nationals Media liaison during the meet Graham Field (2017 Nationals Coordinator) will be doing daily Event updates and handling any media queries as well as arranging Team / Competitor interviews during the competition dates.

PR Staff All media queries are to be addressed to : 2017 Meet Director Graham Field Cell +(0)79 345 7058 Email skydiversity@gmail.com CONDUCTING & COMPETITION DETAILS VENUE DETAILS The venue is Rustenburg Skydiving Club at Rustenburg Airfield, a PASA approved DZ operational hours sunrise to sunset OR as indicated by the Meet Director. TRANSPORT INFORMATION 13 seater Quantum bus will be made available where required driver will be provided. DZ Quad Bike and Double Cab bakkie for outlandings will be provided. Any reasonable additional local transport for the successful running of the Nationals will be provided by SkyDive Rustenburg at no charge. Boarding point is less than 200 meters away from operations a shade structure will be provided and transport if required by any competitor to / from boarding point. TEAM FACILITIES - Packing Hangar, grassed area and normal DZ weekend facilities. - Large screen TV with video / DVD / download facilities will be available in the Clubhouse, additional if required by teams at their expense. - An adjacent large hangar will be made available for packing and trolleying. VIDEO DEBRIEF AREA Team debrief area will be provided either in 1 of the Chalets OR in an area TBA suitable for this purpose. TEAM TROLLEYING AREA An adjacent hangar with smooth concrete floor will be made available for trolleying / dirt dive during the official Nationals Dates. PACKING / REST AREAS There will be a large packing and rest area provided on the grass and pool area as well as the RSC hangar that is presently used for normal skydiving operations.

Bulletin 2 Page 6 of 12 ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES - Existing Chalets and Wendy Huts are NOT available for the duration of the Nationals for accommodation purposes camping area is provided - There are 2 existing male and 3 existing female toilets at the DZ premises. - There are 5 existing male / female showers at the DZ premises. - There is an additional ablution block approx 400m from the DZ on the airfield property consisting of 4 toilets and 4 showers each for male and female - Local accommodation ranging from budget to luxury is available in Rustenburg and surrounds. The Sun City resort is 47km away (See APPENDIX 2) CAMPING FACILITIES Camping is allowed on the Airfield at R25 per person per night in the area(s) allowed for by the event organisers. There are additional camping areas at several resorts within a 10km radius of the DZ. ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS IN RUSTENBURG There is a large range of Hotel, B&Bs, Guest Houses and lodges within the immediate vicinity of the DZ and within 10km. The Sun City Resort is 47km from RSC some options are listed in APPENDIX 2 Various activities are available in the immediate area including Rustenburg Kloof, Magalies Canopy Tours, Sun City, Tandem Paragliding etc. Various outings will be pre-organised, available and on standby in conjunction with other local operators and local tourism board. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registrations including full payment for registration and slots must be submitted by 12h00 on 13 April 2017. Registrations to include all official alternates, managers etc. (if any), videographer and Team Name. Late registrations will be subject to a R1000 late registration fee and no registrations will be accepted after 12h00 on 25 April 2017. The official registration form provided for all Teams / Competitors is available at APPENDIX 1 and downloadable at https://www.para.co.za/files/2017%20nationals%20registration%20form.docx FAI SPORTING CODE & PASA NATIONALS REGULATIONS All relevant RSC staff have a working knowledge of the FAI Sporting code. Competitors to note the following Competitors Responsibilities Rule from the FAI Sporting Code : 3.11.2.4 Competitor responsibilities. All competitors entering sporting events under FAI rules shall accept that they may be required to submit to, and co-operate with, doping control measures. Entrants with a documented medical condition requiring the use of a Prohibited Substance or a Prohibited Method must before the event concerned have obtained a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) in accordance with FAI Anti-Doping rules. In addition, for reasons arising during or immediately before the event, a competitor taking any drug or medication, or suffering from a medical condition, illness or injury, which might either compromise safety or invalidate a licence, must inform the Contest Director in writing before competing. By entering this competition all competitors shall have made themselves aware of the following document and contents thereof this is available for reference and download on the PASA website as follows :

Bulletin 2 Page 7 of 12 PASA SSA Nationals Regulations https://para.co.za/files/pasa%20ssa%20nationals%20regulations%20team%20selection%20and%2 0Colours%20Criteria%202016-12.pdf MEETINGS AND EVENT COMMUNICATIONS Shall be conducted in accordance with FAI and competition requirements, as necessary. The Team leaders meeting shall take place immediately after jumping ends on Wednesday 26 April 2017 and shall be followed by the draw for the competition rounds and jump order. MANIFEST CALLS / PA SYSTEM Manifest, manifest calls and the broadcasting to competitors shall be in accordance with standard practice. Manifest boards will be placed at the Manifest office for the referral of teams and the announcements will be made through a suitable PA and speaker system. LOAD MANAGEMENT Load management will be undertaken by the manifest officer. Competitors on multiple teams and / or disciplines will be accommodated where possible however this may mean adjustment of call times etc. for the affected team(s). Manifest will take place on the basis of block time however the overall competition will not be held back by competitors taking part in more than 1 event the complete provisions of section 1 part 4 of the PASA SSA Nationals Regulations document is to be fully understood by all competitors Classic accuracy and Performance Wingsuiting events will be manifested on consecutive competition loads wherever possible in order to make best and consistent use of available weather conditions. All competition loads will commence at 08h00 on each day of the competition the duration of the relevant day s events will be subject to weather conditions and specific event requirements. The first load of the competition shall be at 08h00 on Thursday 27 April 2017 and the last load of the competition shall be at 15h00 on Monday 01 May 2017 should the Nationals event be completed before the final day as contemplated this will be communicated to the competitors as required. AIRCRAFT MOVEMENTS AND MANAGEMENT This will be the responsibility of the Aircraft Coordinator and Chief Pilot as is the norm at Skydive Rustenburg. COMPETITION NOTICE BOARDS RSC will provide a competition notice board and large screen(s) for the broadcasting of event dives and team scores with assistance by the Judges and associated equipment. ENTERTAINMENT FACILITIES RSC has a fully staffed and equipped bar / clubhouse area which is available to all competitors and members of the public for the event duration. In the event of long weather delays there are several places of interest in the area as well as malls, shops, bars and night-clubs in the immediate vicinity.

Bulletin 2 Page 8 of 12 MEDALS AND AWARDS CEREMONY The awards ceremony and after Nationals function will take place on 01 May 2017 OR as soon as reasonably possible upon competition completion. The competitor registration fee includes the cost of the meal for all participants and additional tickets will be on sale for non-competitors and public. The Airfield is situated just North of the town on the R510 between Rustenburg and Sun City. The competition dates are from the 27 th April 2017 to 1 st May 2017 inclusive and include an official training day on Wednesday 26 th April 2017 with competition hours between 08h00 and 17h00 each day. Competitors in the Championships are expected from all Provinces of South Africa and will be competing in 5 separate Skydiving Disciplines during the week of competition namely Formation Skydiving, Artistic Events, Canopy Formation, Classic Accuracy and Wingsuit Skydiving all of which will be vying for the title of National Champions in the various categories. Skydiving is also one of the few sports where men and women compete in the same competition on an equal footing with at least 25% of the expected competitors being female skydivers. The Event is fully supported by the local Rustenburg Bojanala Platinum District Municipality as well as the Northwest Government who will use the opportunity to further their tourism, aviation and awareness programs in the area. The Event is open to the public during the competition hours and all are encouraged to view the proceedings from demarcated areas set aside for the public for the duration of the competition. Tandem jumps for those interested in experiencing skydiving will be available at a discounted rate on the 2 weekends before and after the Championship dates This is the second time that the National Skydiving Championships are to be held in The Northwest Province and both Skydive Rustenburg and the Parachute Association of South Africa are excited to bring this unique and spectacular sport to the people of Rustenburg and The Northwest Province.
