Where else could you listen to great music and swim in the early spring? Mother Nature couldn't ruin this one! Dennis, Mark and Danny of Tropical Soul killed it once again. Being that Easter was the next day we had a great turn out and with a little better date planning next year, this will be a bigger and better event. If you didn't get to see the end of the cornhole tournament, it was the Isabellas from One Tree Key against the Kriegers from Krieger Mountain Resort. The Isabellas were victorious (along with winning everything else in sight). Most importantly, we retained the Phlocking Tiki Trophy and it will proudly be displayed at One Tree Key! Thanks to both Parrot Heads in Amish Paradise and The Hanover Area Parrot Head Society for a great turn out and looking forward to a spring dip next year!

Captain Yogi's Useless, BUT Important Information Wow, what a busy spring! A lot of events packed in one month. We started off spring on March 26 th, with the 2016 Parrot Head Spring Break Pool Party. What a great time we had! Tropical Soul killed it, again! It is always great to spend PHUN time with our Hanover brethren and of course winning the cornhole tournament to retain the Phlocking Tiki Trophy which will be proudly displayed at One Tree Key Patio! One week later on April 2, it was the Bowl for Kids Sake to benefit the Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Once again, I almost got kicked off the team again when my first score was a 74 (again, good for a golf score, but not bowling), but then came back with a vengeance and scored a 104 (my normal golf score). The big winners were the Big Brothers and Big sisters. I am proud the say that the Amish Parrot Heads raised over $1000 for this event! Thanks Ginny Isabella for all your hard work! Don't forget our upcoming volunteer events. These are the things that make our club great and help the community. First up is the trash clean-up (aka Treasure Hunt) on April 23 rd. This isn t difficult and can actually be phun! The second event is Mother's Day brunch on May 8th at the Ronald McDonald House. Although we have enough volunteers for the RMH Brunch this time around, contact Jane Hess to sign up for the next (June 19). If you haven't done either one of these events, think about joining us. It's rewarding and actually a lot of fun! Dates are listed in the Shark Bites. Lastly, I'm sad to report that ABC Camp Hill will be closing its doors at the end of this April. We wish the employees of ABC good luck and will miss them. We are currently in search of a new location and hope to be announcing a new location shortly! If you have ideas for a centrally located venue, contact a board member! We ll entertain new ideas! As always, if you have any ideas for events or things you might be interested in volunteering for or volunteering the club for, see me or one of the board members. Pools Open! Captain Yogi

Ginny Isabella headed up the committee and bowling teams. Our Phun crew of Amish Parrot Heads raised over $1000 for BB/BS this year! What could be more phun than glow bowling (with adult beverages and bumpers)? Doing it for a great cause! Way to go Ginny and PHIAP crew! Here are some photos of the phun! Post-bowl phun!
