Registered Clydesdales and those eligible for registration may qualify and enter for the Championship. Class 52 THE BSPS HERITAGE MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND OPEN RIDDEN MIXED BREEDS Registered Pure Bred Ponies 4yo or over Riders any age NPS Scotland/Baileys Horse Feeds Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland Championship. For Stallions, mares and geldings four years old and over, registered in the main body of their respective Breed Society stud book. Registered Pure Bred Ponies 4yo or over Riders any age Rider any age, except stallions (see rules in section A 3.2). The owner does not have to be an NPS Scotland member for the pony to enter this competition, but the owner must become a member to enter the final. To be shown in any suitable bridle. A minimum of 6 ponies must be stripped in qualifying rounds. All ponies must be stripped in the NPS Final. The 2 highest placed ponies, not already qualified, in each class will qualify for the Final which will take place at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials on Friday 24 th August 2018. Qualifications to go no lower than 4 th place. Class 53 THE BSPS HERITAGE MOUNTAIN&MOORLAND NOVICE RIDDEN MIXED BREEDS Registered Pure Bred Ponies 4yo or over Riders any age MUNDOLE RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP 1 st place only in classes 37-41, 43, 45-47, 52, 53 SUNDAY 29 April 18 0900 Arena SHOW JUMPING Entries on the day only Judge: Mrs Pam Joyce Course builder: Jenny Davidson Class 55 0.85m Clemmie/BHS Scotland Riding Club Style Jumping Series 2018 Qualification: The first three will qualify. Riders must be a member of a riding club affiliated to BRC to compete at the final. If one has already qualified the card is not passed down. Final: Blair Castle International Horse Trials 2017 Course of 7 fences, 325mpm. First 3 qualify Eligibility: Horses must be 4yo or over. No height restrictions. Horses must not have won more than 175 BS or have more than 10 BE points. Riders must be 18yo or older on 1 Jan 2018 and must not have competed in any FEI competition or be an FBHS or have taken their BHSII exams in the last 10 years. To compete at the final, the rider of the horse must be a member of a riding club affiliated to BRC. This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League, the 1 st 2 nd 3 rd and 4th placed ponies in the Heritage Lead Rein, Heritage First Ridden, Open Heritage Ridden and Open Heritage WHP will qualify and 1 st to 4 th in mixed height open classes. This show is a qualifier for the 2018 BSPS Summer Championships Show, to be held at Arena UK. The 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd placed ponies in the Heritage Lead Rein and Heritage First Ridden classes and the 1st 2 nd 3 rd

and 4 th prize winners in the Heritage Open Ridden, Heritage Open WHP. Classes will qualify for the BSPS Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with with Rules 5 and 28 and ridden by a BSPS member. RULE 5. Exhibitors in qualifying positions, who have never been members of the BSPS are allowed 7 working days in which to become members and register their ponies. Please note this Rule does not apply to classes with HOYS, RIHS, Olympia or Blue Riband Qualifications. RULE 28. Ponies that take a second qualifier for the same section will not be allowed to enter the final. All Mountain & Moorland Ponies must be registered in the main body of their respective stud book. Part bred, X registered ponies, ponies in the appendices of their main stud book and Eriskays are not eligible. Qualification in the M. & M In Hand Section may go to 3 rd in the Championship. All others may go to no lower than 4 th place. A Judge is not obliged to award an NPS Scotland Finals qualification if he/she feels that the pony is not of a sufficient standard CDE Competitors qualifying at Shows held before Monday 4 th June 2018 must send their qualifying card sand entries in by Thursday 28th June 2018. Shows after 5 th June 2018 adhere to a closing date of 1st August 2018 and Late Entries will NOT be accepted. Competitors that qualify at late shows after the 1 st August 2018 are required to email the secretary and send in the qualifying cards within 3 days of the show. Entry for the Finals can only be made by sending the official card duly signed by the Judge at the time of qualifying with your entry form. The OWNER must be or become a member of NPS Scotland before entering the Finals. All ridden ponies must be shown off the lead rein except in the specified Lead Rein Qualifier Class. In Mountain and Moorland classes riders of stallions must be 12 years old or over when riding small breeds (Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Welsh A & B). For large breeds (Highland, Fell, Dales, Connemara, New Forest, Welsh C & D) riders of stallions must be 14 years old or over. A child must have attained their 12th birthday as of the 1st January in the current year to either strip or lunge pony at a NPS show, except for stallions where age will same as in the Rule Book to ride a stallion. Handlers of stallions or colts must be 14 years old or over. Handlers of ponies in In Hand classes aged 14 years and under must wear a correctly secured skull caps/riding hat that meets the current standards. The Final will take place at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials on Friday 24 th August 2018. NPS Scotland/Baileys Horse Feeds Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland Championship.
