TO SAFEGUARD THE FUTURE OF THIS SPRING SHOW IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT MINIMUM DAMAGE IS DONE TO THE FIELD IN WHICH IT IS HELD. Rules and conditions of entry: 1. Judges decisions are final and binding. 2. The Committee cannot be held responsible for any accident, damage or injury to rider, animal, spectator, property or vehicle, howsoever caused. 3. Approved hard hats and correct footwear must be worn at all times when riders are mounted. 4. The committee have discretion to cancel or postpone any event, or alter any class. They also reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating the reason. 5. Riders will be banned from the showground for misuse of whips, spurs or for behaviour which is detrimental to the show. 6. No child under 3 years of age to be mounted on the show field. 7. All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. 8. No horse under 4 years old to be ridden on the show field. 9. No stallions permitted on the show field. 10. No galloping on the field (unless requested to do so by a judge). 11. Whips and spurs are not permitted in gymkhana classes. 12. Entries will be taken as acceptance of the rules and conditions. 13. Objections must be lodged within 10 minutes of the incident concerned, with a 10 deposit, returnable if the objection is upheld. 14. All competitors are responsible for arriving on time for classes. 15. Refunds are to be at the discretion of the show secretary. 16. In the event of the Devon Air Ambulance landing in the area, all riders are to dismount and remain in groups. Horses to be held, not tied.
