Welcome! We welcome you to our 36th annual RLV Gelbvieh/ Balancer Bull Sale! Our customers, repeat and new, are truly appreciated and we treasure the friendships that we have made over the years. It is an honor and a privilege to be your genetic supplier. In appreciation of our buyers (repeat and new) this year we are again offering $100.00 off each bull purchased... we don t limit this to just new buyers! If you haul your bull on sale day or pick him up by May 1, 2016 we will give you $150.00 per bull. The bulls have been grown on HI-EN Bull Challenger R40 and long stem hay. They have performed well and are full of power, deep hind quarters, meat, muscle, eye appeal, clean sheaths, and they are structurally correct. All the bulls are polled! Majority of the bulls are HO- MOZYGOUS BLACK... with some Red bulls, all are AGA registered, with EPD and DNA tests to back them up! We feel without real EPDs you don t have any idea other than looks as to what kind of bull you are purchasing! The dispositions on these bulls are unbeatable. All birth weights are actual not adjusted and the weaning weights are 205 actual weaning weights - not adjusted. We do not believe in selling high birth weight bulls as that only hurts our true customers and friends with birth weight problems... our program is to help... not hurt our customers just to sell a bull. We feel our bulls are our best advertising. Our cattle are not pampered life is too short to put up with problem cattle and if the cows don t raise a decent calf, breed back, have great udders, confirmation, and dispositions, they are culled in order to try to keep our herd problem free. Our herd has several Dams of Merits and Dams of Distinction Cows, but since we are limited to pasture, as it is hard to find, we keep heifer calves and cull our older cows, as we figure if our program is heading in the right direction, the heifers should be better than the Dams, so the Dams are sold whether or not they are Dams of Merits or Dams of Distinction.
