Gipping Riding Society Regulations The organizers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organizers and stewards. The judge s decision is final. Any objections must be made in writing to the Show Secretary within 30minutes of the cause and be accompanied by a 20.00 deposit refundable only if the objection is upheld. The organizers reserve the right to refuse any entry or amend the schedule. The organizers will not tolerate disruptive behaviour from horses or riders. Gipping Riding Society shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused in connection with or arising out of this show. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the Gipping Riding Society or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident. Properly secured protective headgear must be worn when mounted. Hats must be to one of the following standards: PAS015:1998 or 2011, VG 01.040: 2014-12 and also bear the BSI Kitemark or be Inspec IC marked; ASTM F1163:2004a or 04a onwards provided they SEI marked; SNELL E2001 or SNELL E2016; AS/NZS 3838: 2006 Provided they are SAI Global marked. We recommend the use of Back Protectors. Children aged 16 years and under must wear protective headgear to standard for all in-hand classes. GRS recommends all competitors wear protective headgear to standard for in hand classes. All horses & ponies must be 4 years old or over to compete in ridden classes. Mountain and Moorland ponies entering other classes will be accepted unplaited. Do not obstruct the access - emergency services must have access to all parts of the event at all times. Small children must be accompanied at all times. Competitors MUST hold adequate insurance cover including public liability insurance. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept under control and remain on a short leash.
