Ann Dunlop Memorial Show This show is to raise money for a silver trophy to be presented Ayr County Show in memory of Ann Dunlop. Ann bred and showed very successfully over the years and loved competing at Ayr Show. Ann was very sadly diagnosed with a brain tumour and passed away in 2014. Any proceeds following the purchase of the trophy will be donated to the Ayrshire Hospice who looked after Ann so well in her final weeks. Conditions of Entry 1. All entries must be submitted with the full payment. 2. Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subjected to a 20 administration fee for each occasion. 3. CASH ONLY FOR ENTRIES ON THE DAY. 4. RIDING HATS correctly secured riding hats that meet the current BSI safety standards MUST be worn by ALL riders. For in hand classes any person aged 14 years and under MUST also wear a correctly secured riding hat that meet the current standards. 5. All ridden animals must be 4 years old and over and any foal must be over 3 weeks of age. 6. All animals must be led or ridden and under the control of a competent person at all times. Colts and stallions may only be handled by a competent person over the age of 14 years. 7. No behaviour of an offensive, abusive or unpleasant manner to any person will be tolerated. Any act of discourtesy to any official of the show will forfeit their entries and be asked to leave the showground. 8. No person shall ill-treat animals at any time. 9. Dogs will only be permitted if on the lead at all times. Owners MUST clean up after their dog. 10. The show committee or any of its officials shall not be in any way responsible for any loss, injury or damage that may happen to exhibitors or their assistants, members of the public or to any animal or vehicle brought onto the show ground. It is strongly recommended that all exhibitors carry adequate Public Liability Insurance. The show committee and its officials do not accept any liability for any injury or damage sustained by any Third Party whatsoever. 11. The committee reserve the right to refuse entries from any person. 12. The committee reserves the right to combine any classes in the event of insufficient entries, or split the class in the event of oversubscribed entries. 13. The committee reserves the right to ask a competitor to leave a class if they deem that the rider is too big for the animal concerned. 14. Whilst every effort has been made to avoid classes clashing no class will be held up, latecomers will ONLY be admitted to the ring at the discretion of the judge but will not be admitted to the ring after the class has started to trot. 15. The judge s decision is final. 16. The judge may order that a horse or pony that constitutes a danger must leave the ring. 17. All animals must be sound. If in the opinion of the judge, an animal is considered to be unsound it will be asked to leave the class. 18. Horse Passports exhibitors are asked to carry passports for all horses and ponies when competing or travelling. Competitors are reminded that it is a Trading Standard requirement that the passport must be in the name of the legal owner. 19. Any objection that may arise must be lodged with the Secretary with a 20 deposit up to 30 minutes following the event concerned. Objections will not be entertained from any person not exhibiting in the same class as the animal or person to which the objection is raised. The objection will be discussed within the Show Committee and the deposit will be refunded if the objection is sustained. 20. An exhibitor may not exhibit a horse or pony that has been bred, sold, leased, produced, broken or trained by the judge and/or their immediate family. 21. Please do not muck your horsebox out onto the ground at this event. Anyone found doing so will be asked to remove the muck back onto their horsebox. 22. First aid cover will be available for the duration of the show. 23. No farrier will be available. 24. Piercings in the interests of safety, no piercings or visible jewellery should be worn whilst competing. 25. Acceptance of the foregoing provisions will be a condition of entry.
