#BeKind Be Kind 2017: The SPECTATOR Pack Why we do what we do for you and your child. At Legacy Cheer and Dance, we believe the value of one s life is not measured by trophies or medals. Its measured by the extent to which we use our own experiences and talents to make a difference for others. With 30 years experience in this industry as athletes, coaches, event producers, and as cheer mums ourselves, we believe its our responsibility to share the powerful life building lessons that come with cheer and dance. We also believe in teaching life and leadership skills first- to enhance what you do learn in this sport on the competition floor and off. And more than anything, we want to give you a fun experience. Cheerleading and dance is one of the greatest journeys you and your child can go on together. Thank you for entrusting us and the entire Legacy Family to this precious time with you. Here s to things even bigger than dance and cheerleading. Here s to building Leaders for Life. As always, we re cheering you on.with gratitude, Aly & Andrea This Event: Location, Times, Parking, and Tickets BE KIND SUPER REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS EMIRATES ARENA 1000 London Road, G40 3HG Schedule The schedule is posted on the Legacy website on the BE KIND competition page. Click Here to see it as soon as it is released- usually about 2 weeks prior to an event (Then click the Schedule tab). Because of the nature of the sport, it is subject to change until the last minute. Always check the top right corner of the posted schedule to see the latest revision date to ensure you have the most up to date version. It may also be helpful for you to screenshot the pages prior to your arrival in the event of signal limitations at a given venue. LegacyCheerandDance.com 1
NOTE: Your coach will have your meeting times, warm up times, and your programme-specific details. Arrive EARLY to allow for traffic, parking, and other potential external factors, and to ensure a smooth and fun day at comp! Spectator Tickets If you purchased your tickets via a pre-order from the coach, the wristbands are given to the coach when they check in. Some coaches opted to have them posted in advance. Either way, check with your own programme for distribution procedures. If you purchased your tickets individually online (not through your coach), you may pick up your wristbands on the door individually, as long as you were the one to place the order. Remember, tickets are not posted or emailed. Instead, you ll simply approach any Legacy staff member on the door when you arrive and let us know who you are. We ll look you up electronically on the spot, verify your purchase to check you in, and hand you the wristbands you ve purchased. Its that easy! If you are not the person who ordered, but are picking tickets up for someone, you must have their paypal receipt to pick up your tickets. Paper or email/phone display is fine. If still available, tickets for Be Kind can be also purchased as General Admission on the door, but this cannot be guaranteed as spectator space is limited and there is ebb and flow to attendance throughout the day. Tickets purchased on the door are CASH ONLY. Seating: Please Be Courteous Very Important: Seating at all Legacy events is Open, due to the come and go nature of the event. That is, seats are not assigned, and we do not referee. Therefore we ask everyone in advance to use kindness and generosity at all times during this fun family event. Large groups of seats without any other spectator among them are not available due to the come/go nature of the long day. That is, you ll be able to find a seat in the giant arena, and it will likely be within the vicinity of your team, but there likely will be other people attending amongst you who also purchased a ticket. We ask IN ADVANCE to help everyone have a smooth day.please follow these simple rules, and share them with your neighbors and fellow supporters: 1) Start with kindness. Everyone is attending to support a loved one or friend, and the number one rule at Legacy is to Have FUN. 2) Please offer the seat next to you if you see someone looking and you know that no one is sitting there. 3) KEY: Do NOT place your bags, coats, other items in seats. Your bag did not purchase a ticket, and the person waiting for a seat did. The only exception to this is to hold a seat for a reasonable 5 minute toilet break if your neighbor is stepping away for a very short time. Otherwise, kindly place your belongings either under you, on you, by your feet, or in your lap to make the seat next to you available. Some venues have areas with lockers or other potential keeping areas, but that is not a guarantee. Keep this in mind when you are deciding what to bring into the venue and where you can consolidate. Your athletes can take their own backpacks with them through warm up if needed. 4) Kindly remove your rubbish from the day as you depart. There are rubbish bins throughout the arena. 5) Again, we cannot block out sections for groups. Be willing to separate into smaller groups of 2 or 3 a few rows over if needed. The views are excellent from every seat at Emirates. 6) Repeat step one, and Have FUN! Getting to Emirates Arena The Emirates website with full details is Here.
