Suggestions to open gate exiting onto Box Rd and left turn only onto Box Rd have both been rejected. They suggested parents use the drop off zone on
Bellingara Rd, to avoid blocking up the Carpark. Drop off zone is 2 minutes only. Clubs to advise this to members. The Secretary reminded all clubs that coaches at Seymour Shaw need to coach to the normal rules. Item 48 Cron RSL D2 team request for re-grade. The registrar looked into this thoroughly, and the team could not be re-graded.

NSW REPORT: Next meeting 24 th July followed by Strategic Forum Storm Gymea EXECUTIVE: Sponsorship opportunities discussed in Vice President Report Online Registration. Would like to have this up and running by next year. State Age results discussed Fixed timeslots would need be used to make use of NMAS system and online registration. A grade would have the same timeslot each week for 7 weeks, and then move on to the next timeslot for the next 7 weeks. Storm advised that they would prefer to stay with the current system. Sylvania is concerned that fixed timeslots could cause umpiring issues. Clubs to discuss and the issue will be readdressed at the September meeting. Constitution Forum Tuesday 7 th August. Email to be sent out to clubs. Please bring along a copy of constitution. Storm Taren Pt REGISTRARS: Reminder re second games players who filled in for other teams on Day 9/8 have played two games with that team & should not be borrowed again. Eagles asked whether this was considerded when the half games were introduced. The Secretary advised Eagles they can submit a motion for the September meeting to have this changed. Night Comp Registration Monday 13 th August. Two x 13-16yrs players permitted to play in each senior team. Mixed comp to be run. JNR twilight comp to be run if enough interest (10yrs and up). J Mclachlan asked whether the Sunday set aside for wet weather was going to be used. Depends if we get more rain. Day 7 senior games to be played on Day 13 as half games. Storm

Player clinic well attended over 200 players Sharks SELECTION & REPS: State League All State League teams are performing well with all expected to make the semifinals. State Championships. Our State Championship teams results were remarkable considering the amount of injuries and withdrawals that we had. Our results were as follows: Under 17s 4 th Coach Rebecca Wakefield, Manager Kim Scott Under 19s 2 nd Coach Margaret Corbett, Manager Petra Hayman Opens 4 th - Coach Robyn Walker, Manager Shirley Way Nationals Congratulations to Maria Lynch (State League 1 Coach) on coaching NSW under 21 s to victory, defeating South Australia in the Grand Final of the nationals by 49 to 38. Congratulations also go to Melissa Talent and Hannah Lee for being selected into this team and representing Sutherland & NSW brilliantly. State Age All teams performed well at State Age with the following results: 12 years 5 th - Coach Nicole Ryan, Asst Coach Jordan Bedingfield, Manager Robin Glennan 13 years equal 2 nd Coach Carly Burtenshaw, Manager Alison Camlin 14 years equal 3 rd Coach Vicki Kerr, Asst Coach Raelene Fanning, and Manager Michelle Wilson 15 years 5 th - Coach Debbie Feening, Manager Nerida Noble Unfortunately, there were a lot of injuries especially in the 14 & 15 years age group and the injuries were mainly back, hamstrings, calves and 2 broken arms and blisters. There were no knee or ankle injuries.
Celine has taken statistics of the injuries together with Anne and will be compiling a report with recommendations. All players were cleared to play prior to attending State Age. Accommodation was good and the meals were the best we have ever had at the Greens Bowling Club. Tents were well set up and it was also a benefit having Greg Pierce assist with the strapping and ice baths and the post-game rehabilitation with Celine and Greg aided in the recovery process of the players. Petra s remedial massage as well was of great benefit to the players especially in the Sunday night when their muscles were very weary. Thank you also to all of the Executive and Parents who assisted over the weekend things would not have happened without everyone s help. Gymea VICE PRESIDENT: Renewing sponsors Gymea Lily and Menai Indoor New sponsor Kurnell Storage King. Fatima mentioned that they use storage boxes in the off-season. Contact Renae to discuss. Goodbuddy coming back on board as a sponsor Westfield to supply gift vouchers possibly for coaches/managers of rep teams. They are considering supplying a weekly voucher as a prize at the courts each Saturday. Spoken to Subway. Not interested at this stage. Renae has suggested the possibility of sponsoring a team for a few weeks. A proposal to be submitted this week. Renae has been liaising with McDonalds regarding sponsorship. More details to follow. Liaising with BSC regarding sponsorship supplier of compression tights. Discussed supplying clubs with tights at a discounted price. Clubs would receive a rebate on each sale. More info to follow. Renae would like to see online rego underway in 2013. Also the introduction of an online shop and E-newsletter. Uniforms excess stock to be sold off on last two rounds of play.
