Sierra Touring Company: n From Reno: Take highway 395 north to Hallelujah Junction. Take Highway 70 west to Beckwourth, California. Go 1/8 mile past Beckwourth on Hwy 70 and turn South (left turn) on County Road A-23 (Calpine 13). Continue 2.3 miles on A-23, and you will see an ATV high in the air on your right. That s us! Total driving time about 45 minutes. n From Truckee: From Truckee or I-80, take Hwy 89 north to Sierraville, California. At the T in Sierraville, turn left on Hwy 89 (yes, it s still the same road!) to Sattley. At Sattley, turn right on West Side Road. From there, go 13 miles. You will see an ATV high in the air on your left. You re here. Total driving time about 45 minutes. n From Graeagle: Take Hwy 89 north to Hwy 70 east and head toward Portola. About five miles after you go through Portola, take County Road A-23. You will see an ATV high in the air on your right. You ve arrived. Total driving time about 20 minutes.
What To Bring n Layers of Clothing Layers of clothing are always a good idea no matter what the season. The temperature can change from hour to hour and from lower elevations to higher. When the sun goes behind a cloud, you get cold. When it comes back out again, you get hot. n Long Pants Long pants and sturdy shoes are helpful on our ATV tours. Snow pants, and jacket, snow boots, gloves and hat for snowmobiling - yes, just like you dress to go skiing. n Change of Clothes If you are planning an ATV Tour, you will get dirty. You might want to bring something clean to change into. If you are planning a Snowmobile Tour, you will get wet. You might want to bring somthing dry to change into including shoes. n Supplies We provide water and a snack while on ATV tours and water on snowmobile tours. If you have specific dietary needs, make sure to plan for those. If you have chosen to partake in our BBQ Meal, check the menu to make sure you won t have to supplement for your special requirements.
