The Membership Drive and Fashion Show held at Oswego Pointe was a fun event and we were happy to have several new prospective members attend. Amanda and Amanda (Left photo left and middle) are a couple of our newest Skiyente sisters and they were sport enough to volunteer to model, yeah! Other models included Diane Hicks, Tracy Chosa, Nancy Foreman, Sally Niedermeyer and our own Skiyente President Colleen Stroeder. Maidenforum www.skiyente.com Page 2 WE PRAYED FOR SNOW! WE GOT SNOW! Once again, the annual Pray For Snow Event produced snow on the mountain. Could it have been all the dancing, the great band, good music, laughter and good times that appeased the snow gods? We would like to think so. Yeah to a great kickoff for the snow and skiing season! It can only get deeper now so keep dancing, laughing and praying for more snow! SKIYENTE BOOTH WINS FIRST PLACE AT THE ANNUAL NWSCC SKI FAIR!! A big THANK YOU goes out to Louise DuFresne and helpers for all of their hard work on the Skiyente Booth at the annual NWSCC Ski Fair event held November 5th at the Holiday Inn! The booth won first place and several Skiyente members showed up to help before and during the show. GREAT JOB!!! We are always looking for interesting events happening in or around the area. If you would like to submit any information on upcoming activities that you think the club might be interested in, please contact Meg Spillman at Meg Spillman-editor@skiyente.com
