Hawaii pinch hitter Christian Johnson tied the game with a one-out, solo home run off Oregon State closer Kevin Rhoderick. The Rainbows won the game with two outs when Collin Bennett singled to right center on a 3-2 pitch from Rhoderick, bringing in Kolten Wong from third. First AB Shutdown Oregon State relievers have come into a game and faced a combined eight batters to open their outings. Only one batter has reached base to open against OSU relievers (12.5 percent). Romero To Open Through the first three games of the season, Stefen Romero is 6-for-12 with two home runs and six RBI. Romero went 2-for-4 with a home run on Sunday.
